How is a brigadier a whole when it is equivalent to level 13 in civil service

There is nothing like "most senior or most junior" simply say senior or junior.

If she is Yoruba or Middle Belt then Tinubu would try her, anything outside that is a NO-NO. Haven’t you noticed that Middle Belt guys are the holding security? NSA, COAS, Minister of Defence, the three of them are Middle Belt. The Minister of State for Defence wey be ceremonial position, you see as the traitor dey do meetings with bandits for night.

If you haven't heard of scheme of service, please educate yourself.

The Scheme of Service for the Nigerian military outlines the structure, roles, and career progression for personnel in the Armed Forces. It is designed to ensure effective management and development of military personnel.

Every position in civil and public service has its job description and the military is no exception.

The president had the prerogative to promote him and he will not be setting a precedence.


Obviously, you don't know that a lieutenant Colonel has been promoted to Brigadier general (skipping Colonel) in this same Nigeria army and then to major general and heaven did not fall.

A brigade is made up of at least 4 Battalions all led by a lieutenant Colonel and Colonels in some instances.
A battalion strength is between 350 to 800 men and women.

Tell me which grade level 13 civil servant has direct supervision of between 1000 - 5000 people and equipments.

Is this the kind of person you would want to place as a statue to be moving your seat for you (irrespective of the perks of being an ADC) ?

* There is no brigadier in Nigeria who controls 1000-5000 people.
* The simple fact of the matter is that a brigadier in the army is equivalent to a level 13 in the civil service and even if you vex and jump inside a well it will not change that fact
