There was a valid ground and that judgement remains a precedent till today. You can’t exclude votes from certain areas except there are valid grounds for that in line with the law. APC won Imo fair and square.

The Supreme Court is a policy court and they can depart from a precedent. In the case of Amaechi vs Omehia, the Supreme Court also departed from the judgement. The case can no longer be cited as a precedent.

Most people believe the Bayelsa case was a counter punch to the Imo case. The parlance was if you Tanko me, I'll Odili you. The two examples show how badly our judiciary has become polarised and politicised due to the leprous fingers of the reprobate APC touching its very core starting from the unilateral suspension of a sitting chief justice. The rot keeps getting deeper by the day

As for the Zamfara judgement, I think you need to read your electoral act well because party primaries do not fall under internal affairs of a party. They are justiciable

if you have common sense you should know that it’s practically impossible for the whole votes from the claimed 388 cancelled polling units to be accrued to just one candidate. An unpopular one at that. That judgement is against everything law stands for. It’s against natural fairness, equity and good conscience.

It is not the business of the supreme court to enquire how all votes from 388 units went to APC. It is the business of the tribunal but unfortunately PDP didn't raise this arguments at the tribunal

It was actually a 6 to 1 judgement in favour of Hope Uzodinma. This clearly shows Hope brought compelling evidences and probably the defense did a terrible job or were overconfident and didn't provide the necessary counter evidences. Whatever be the case, even if the CJN was on the panel, he has just 1 vote out of 7
