NiceTri:Sorry for cutting in. Please what if my reference letter is not dated and doesn't have a recipient address or a "to whom it may concern"? It meets ircc specification otherwise. |

Please o, does anyone have any idea if this ban will also affect Nigerian permanent residents in Canada? Getting a US visa as a Canadian PR from Nigeria used to be easy, but now idk again |

hello All, I received an ITA for CEC and have the following questions: 1. Can you please confirm if the JD provided by my Organization in my reference letter suffices for the Financial Advisor NOC code 11102: Consistently demonstrate empathy, kindness and take the time to understand circumstances, motivators and concerns in all interactions with colleagues and clients Communicate effectively to uncover client needs, deliver client centric advice, solutions and proactively resolve client concerns at first point of contact Use your own advice capabilities, and those of the right partner in the RBC ecosystem to meet our client's entire suite of financial needs, both personal and business Provide professional advice and education with an ability to address complex credit and investments, ensuring solutions recommended are appropriate for client needs and financial circumstances Champion digital enablement by proactively educating our clients to self-serve, while leading with advice, serving through digital where possible and encouraging our clients to interact with us in their channel of choice. Make good use of technology to connect with clients both virtually and face to face Implement effective contact and relationship building strategies, that accelerate new client acquisition and retention in your local community Collaborate with market-leading professionals in financial planning, retirement planning, mortgages, and business banking experts to ensure clients receive customized and relevant expert advice I have a bachelors in law, post grad in business management and certifications from Canadian Securities Institute. My title was financial advisor in my EE profile but the reference letter shows "financial advisor intern" Hope this wont be a problem. 2. Do I need to include my CELPIP test results in my application or just the reference numbers will suffice, I noticed page 1 says we should, but under what category do I include it? 3. For work experience both within and outside Canada would just the reference letter suffice or do I need to include T4, pay stubs, NOA, etc. 4. I worked for 3 years as an entrepreneur back home, in my application for study permit when i came to Canada (my resume and SOP), I referenced my role as a managing partner of that company with a resumption date for January xxxx so didnt need to include typical documens for a business owner. However in my EE profile that has now been locked post ITA, the same title was maintained but the month was May Bleep. What month was I to reflect in my final submission to avoid misrepresentation/ADR? Do i need to write a letter of explanation explaining this or it may be overlooked? 5. Finally, to confirm, no documentation needed for anything mentioned under personal activities right? Is there a CEC group I can join, whatssap, telegram etc? Please add me biko Many thanks for assisting with questions above. i am losing my mind here and wondering if to send a webform tackling these. |

BurnerMan:No, Tax clearance is not a compulsory document required for proof of work experience for Express Entry. The typical requirements are: 1. Job Reference letter in IRCC format 2. Bank statement showing proof of payments However, in a situation where the candidate was paid in cash and they don't have proofs of depositing such cash salary into their personal account, additional documents would be required to show proof of payment, and that is where Tax Clearance comes in. The TCC is used as an additional document to show that you were paid during the employment period. |

hi good day everyone, first off i am a newbie here. I am just getting started with the Express Entry process. I am a 21-year-old software engineer, working in corporate tech since I was 18. I have pay stubs to prove my employment, and the only dilemma is that I only have a National Diploma (OND) in Computer Science. Currently, in my second year of undergraduate studies. i have taken the French exams, and I am preparing to take IELTS to support or boost my CRS. My French scores were good. Do you think it would be a good idea to go ahead and create my EE profile, and does using my ND as my academic qualification put me at a disadvantage in any way? Note: I am yet to create my profile. I have over 3 years of experience, I have good French scores, planning to take IELTS too. also is there a group chat or WhatsApp platform I would like to be added to one. merry christmas everyone. |

Bigzaddy2004:Have you evaluated your OND yet? If you haven’t, do that with WES asap as you’re preparing for IELTS- it’s an advantage. IELTS as a second language if you can prep well and get a good score too will boost your point so great planning there! Also simulate your potential score with your current French scores and potential ielts scores. Your CRS should be within the range of recent French draws if not higher sef. All the best!! |

Hello everyone My uni sent my transcript to WES via email on 7th of November 2025, however, I did not get an email from WES acknowledging receipt of the transcript. I sent them several messages and they said my documents were being evaluated(guess they were talking about my ACCA). Then on 15th December, WES contacted me that they haven’t received the transcripts for my bachelor’s. I had to send my school another email for them to send the transcript again because I asked ChatGPT what could be the issue and it said probably the way the email was sent, so WES wasn’t able to tie it to my profile. My uni sent another email on 16/12/2025 but WES is still yet to acknowledge and my dashboard is still showing “awaiting documents from institution” The email the documents were sent to is documents@wes.org At this point, I’m confused. Please help |

| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by udomas(m): 9:25pm On Dec 25, 2025 |
Bigzaddy2004:You doing great! Kindly evaluate your OND with WES ASAP if you've not, and then lodge your profile ASAP whilst you prepare for your IELTS. You might be lucky with category based draws- French or possibly a provincial nomination being a software engineer. |

NiceTri:I know for sure. But since the school according the poster sent twice via email but no acknowledgement... the school should as well send via post. That's my suggestion supposing you picked that wrongly. |
