Edrizz:It's the 4.2kva. Yes the fan comes on while on heavy load, and while charging. Louder when charging with high current. But on light loads it's literally silent. Consider cleaning the vents... Made a difference for me and now even while using submersible pump I can barely hear the fan. |

I need a very good used 5kw 48v lifepo4 battery, probably from someone that wanna upgrade. Budget is around 600 |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by dollarnaira(m): 10:54am On Dec 18, 2025 |
Khoded:A 100ah cell is around 45k that is 720k at for 16 psc. To see a seller for such amount will be difficult because it will include : cells, bms, casing, terminals, etc all for 600k? To crown it all you con add "very good use". Omo e go hard o. You can increase your search but the probability of such is around 0.00000001. |

Khoded:Upgrade to what? Surely anyone who wants a larger battery would just parallel it with the 5kwh? |

Brand new Haisic 12v 1.5kw Hybrid inverter 190k
|
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Iinnov8: 11:28pm On Dec 18, 2025 |
Used 1.6kw PowMr Hybrid inverter. Inverter developed Error 09 issue due to wrong solar connection or so, so brand new board was installed. Letting both inverter and old board fly at 220k

Hi everyone. A friend of mine consulted me about going solar, he was looking at the colasolar 3600 power station but after factoring the price including solar panels, i told him he's better off installing a solar system. So i need some recommendations on budget friendly and very good: *2.5kw 24v lithium battery *2.5-3kva 24v hybrid inverter system *Is 2 550w jinko solar panels good enough to charge the battery considering his total load is not more than 800w but he would be adding a 1hp AC unit in the future *what mm cable is good enough to handle the series connections of the solar panels Budget: 800k-1m without solar panels Lastly the price range of the items and where to get them from would be appreciated |

JoeSef0:Haisic 1.5kw 12v inverter for 190k above Deriy 3.6kwh 12v battery from Dam5reey1 for 440k 2 615w Jinko panels from Fouani 6mm cables from panels to inverter 35mm cables from battery to inverter |

HeavenlyBang:35mm large o |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by HeavenlyBang(m): 8:09am On Dec 19, 2025 |
dollarnaira:Well, that's what is needed if they want to use the entire 1500w output of that inverter optimally. In a 12v setup, that's about 115A of current. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by JoeSef0(m): 9:38am On Dec 19, 2025 |
I specifically said 24v Client would be adding a 1hp AC in the future. A 12v system can't cut it HeavenlyBang: |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Unfaized: 9:42am On Dec 19, 2025 |
JoeSef0:Try stating your budget. That will enable streamlined recommendations. And also the number of hours you're likely to run your loads. 2.5kwh battery is too small to add a 1hp AC to especially as your initial load is already 800w. Consider a 5kwh battery minimum. With the above, 2 550w panels cannot consistently give you a full charge for your daily needs. Consider stepping it up. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 12:20pm On Dec 19, 2025 |
HeavenlyBang:A lot of times, running a 12v system is not really as cheap as we think. You think you saving on number of batteries but you end up spending those money elsewhere + you still end up with low performance |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by dollarnaira(m): 1:02pm On Dec 19, 2025 |
bassdow: ![]() How do you end up spending more sir? Low performance too? Wonderful!!! |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by HeavenlyBang(m): 1:11pm On Dec 19, 2025 |
bassdow:An extra 20k on cables is hardly some groundbreaking extra expense. Fact is the vast majority of families in Nigeria would be fully satisfied with the setup I listed up there, since it barely costs 1.1m. Show me a 24v setup with that budget that can outperform it, without buying used hardware. |
