The amount recieved and the amount contributed does not match so what is responsible for the mismatch if you are considering regions with Lagos and Rivers excluded?

The mismatch shows that there is a factor not being considered in this analysis

NW is like 300 percent and NW are more into agric that is not VATable. When saying there is low productivity in the east always know that their whole population according to NIN data is just like eighty percent of Lagos which is one state in the SW and they don't have the advantage that Lagos has

I think most well to do Ibos live outside their region. Those one outside their region are what give false sense of importance.

South East as a region is so poor and have lesser economic activities in the real sense. Most economic attributes they attribute to them is from their fellow Ibo residing in other region and going back home for x y z.

Their consumption is actually outside not inside the region.

So if their official population is 100 for example, over 30 might be outside that region already and those 30 have more purchasing power than the rest of the 70 remaining at home.

Everything the regions generated minus Lagos and Rivers were clearly stated. What all the regions got were also clearly stated. So, what’s the mismatch? It clearly showed that south west is the highest VAT generating region in the country and also the only region that receives less than what it contributes.

Again, the stats also showed that without the south west and Lagos, most of the states can’t get what they are getting in terms of VAT revenue.
