Its really simple.

Look at it this way.

1. By law, the total distributed is always the total from the entire country.
2. This thread seeks how much is generated from the country less two states.

That can never be the same sum.

Thats all you need to know.

If ibo people living outside their region are wealthier than those living there it means that the region is poor. Just like Nigerans living in the US are much more wealthier than those living in Nigeria on average. SE is truly a barren land. Ibos will surely suffer the most if there were to be a Biafla tomorrow and other regions chase them back to Alaibo.

Thats actually irrelevant. You are free to ask the question as to where they derive the distributive figures from - however that will be meaningless because it is impossible to reserve what is generated from 34 states only and then presume to calculate what is distributed from those states alone when the law only ever works with a distribution from what is generated from the entire country. Besides the fluidity of funds simply makes such a thought experiment entirely meaningless and even illogical.

Again: BY LAW - What is distributed comes from the entire country. By the premise of this thread, what is generated is what is sought - less two states - which can NEVER be the same as what is distributed by law - which is what you claimed. Seunmsg (who you called my master and who I have only ever had criticisms for on account of tribalism) was right when he said that as for what is distributed, you will have to add both left-out states. That is the only logical thing in light of the law.

And oh, what were you saying about VAT not being collected at the point of consumption in Nigeria? So at what point is it collected? And you talk about ignorance.

However, all these statistics about VAT cannot be deemed genuine as long as VAT collection is still being done at the point of production instead of consumption. That does not mean the statistics will change but the figure will definitely take a hit
