At this point, if you ask me, I feel Tinubu's biggest drawback isn't the painful but necessary economic reforms, but the fact the CBN has failed to tame inflation more aggressively.

If the CBN set an inflation rate of no more than 6%, this will lead to a stronger Naira, and a drop in prices. That will be a vote winner any day.

However, it would have the ability to tilt the economy into a recession due to high interest rates needed to achieve it.

Tinubu doesn't want a recession.

All I know is SW president will never see 10k votes in SE.The governors of SE are just cashing out.They can't even mention his name in SE for us to consider. He is never an option.

Are you for real? Arewa can't decide votes. The governors who are supporting Tinubu have a much greater say with the electorate. Governor's are swimming in money now that subsidy have been removed, which means the money used for the subsidy is now entering their purse.

Also, the devaluation of the Naira has also increased the money flowing their way. Assuming $1bn waa to be shared January 2023. Exchange rate was $1• N440. Thats 440bn. Now, it's 1,500 which is 1.5 trillion.

So, the gocernors are actually very grateful.

In addition, Arewa is out of touch with the people. The biggest problems in the North today isn't roads. It'd Banditry, militia herdsmen, and Islamic terrorists. The first two can easily be defeated. The last one, can at best be contained.

If Tinubu can succeed in riddng the North of the first two, and containing the last one, his fortunes will only balloon, and not diminish

Conquering the South indeed. Where are the Southern electorates singing his praises? If Governors were that significant, Umahi and Uzodinma would have delivered their states to Tinubu and Okowa would have delivered himself in Delta as a Vice presidential candidate. Wake up and smell the coffee. Tinubu is more unpopular today than he was in 2023 where he had benefit of doubt. Don't let the defections of governors fool you, Atiku won many Northern states with APC governors in 2023. The margins will be higher in 2027.

Yoruba MUST give Tinubu all the votes he needed to be reelected in 2027. As for us in the North, we rather cast our votes for VDM or Bobriski, than to waste our votes for incompetent Tinubu.
