Abia Police Confirms Killing Of Security Agent In Aba (Video) by Metrix147(op): 12:38am On Dec 20, 2025

The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, on Friday confirmed the killing of an officer of the Nigerian Army identified as Lance Corporal David on November 21, 2025.

ABN TV had exclusively reported the killing, suspected to be cult-related, last month.

Confirming the incident while briefing journalists in Umuahia, CP Danladi said efforts are ongoing to arrest and prosecute the suspects, assuring Abians of the command's readiness to ensure the security of lives and property.

Lance Corporal David was trailed to his family home along Ngwa Road, Aba, where he was killed by the assailants in the presence of his family members.

The report has since been confirmed by eyewitnesses, and ABN TV has also obtained pictorial and video evidence of the killing.

The deceased, who hails from Ebonyi, was raised in Abia and had recently returned from a medical surgery before he was brutally murdered.

He was granted a pass to undergo the medical procedure before resuming work.

I believe the killings in the south east far outnumber the killings in the north but the bias...

don't mind them.. Who are mostly there customer. I have a Igbo man that I have been doing business with since 2005.... If they don't see me within a day, he or his wife will call. Am an optician and they supply me eye wears and lens.
