Is it that something is wrong with my football watching skills or what? I wanted to get clarification on this below.

We no longer build from the back?
We still do, just with reduced involvement when it comes to Sanchez. You can call it a hybrid situation.

It's a way to manage Sanchez's weaknesses and improve overall backline confidence. When Sanchez is not making mistakes, he's a fantastic goalie and it radiates to the defence line.

One more thing, Sanchez's long passes and early-distribution skills are a weapon... so why not use them? It's great squad and individual player management.

Maresca introduced this new system at the CWC.

Ekitike's goal was a foul on Romero. VAR didn't even pretend to review it but reviewed the Richarlison goal for absolutely nothing. Then gave Romero (the Captain) the silliest second yellow to make sure LFC had more numerical advantages.

The FA had made up their mind to give LFC this win by fire by force.

I can manage Romero but that Richardlison, I have said this many times here, they need to test that guy, he always behaves as if is on overdose drugs.

PGMOL is filled with Liverpool fanboys. I’m not very surprised. Their bias was subtle last season but today it was quite blatant.

I think I agree with this submission. For some time, I quite noticed the change in pattern for some games now.
Atleast the long balls sometimes is effective with our both goalkeepers finding the point man in the attack. Maybe I got too used to building from the back.

Not a bad squad management by Maresca.

I was about to quote you, then noticed nateevs had in essence summed up what I wanted to say

BTW some of the time, our proclivity to pass back and recycle annoys me to no end

It's just that we go long more often than before

It wasn't subtle last season. Just that Liverpool were the best team in the EPL so it was easier to explain things away. VVD deserved multiple red cards for elbowing players but he was never given one.

If we had lavia, maybe we’d build from the back more often.
When palmer moved to 10, he had to come back some times, to help in first phase build up
We should be making good use of our supposed dlp enzo in this, but instead we are relying on caicedo. Now, caicedo can actually evade the press but I’m not so confident in his forward ball

Airmark no well olohun grin cheesy
Last season at the same ground, we were trailing 1-0, Jakujaku Jackson instead of scoring, collected red card and we lost 2-0. This season we conceded same 2 goals, but Jakujaku Jackson's replacement scored an equalizer. Why wouldn't i be happy with my boy, JP?

If Nateevs, Timbros, Lordfalcao, Kimbeast, drisham miss Jackson, they should play this.

Garnacho should have had us with relaxed mind by now but we are here sweating
wman:
Garnacho should be a squad player.

He shouldn't be starting for a team like Chelsea
.
2 consecutive Epl matches, the so-called productive Garnacho aborted our hopes. Give him MK Dons tomorrow now, you will see his influencers with posts hyping him up and down. sad
