Ofcourse agenda alone will not win election, but agenda will form the basis upon which an election can be won. Meanwhile, Triple A that Amosun tried to install is not an Egba agenda it was Amosun's agenda. bunmioguns: |

Bro, Ogun West had a good chance to produce the governor when Amosun was trying to bring in Triple A (Akinlande) but baba sope its eleyi from Remo that will do it. That set the agenda for Ogun west back for another 8years when we look at it from a rotational spectrum. Another issue for some of us is principally not about where the candidate is from but who is the candidate? So 'Baba sope' wants to come and install one of his legendary scammer just like the present eleyi of Ogun State and because of the sentiments of where he is from which is still even contested ooo? But really, suffer no dey tire you people? Anyways, competence should trump sentiments and someone like the BCO and any other better candidate should be given fair opportunity to govern the state. Abeg, lets retire all these politicians who are only out there to steal, kill and destroy our common resources. roscoman: |

mmoluwole:That's a wrong accusations that president Tinubu is trying to impose Yayi on Ogun state people. Ogun state is the most respected state by president Tinubu. He doesn't determine the affairs of the state. Get your facts right |

In the Egba 5 kingdom Owu is part of it There is Egba Ake, Egba Oke ona, Egba Gbagura, Owu and Ibara. They are all part of the Egba Kingdom Even Ibara also is not Egba but they all believed to be Egba together. Obj and Amosun are Owu they cannot say they are not Egba. Only Ibara people will vehemently tell you that they are not Egba because they are egbado. helinues: |

jadeliyi:You see all those kingdoms, they are all settlers in Abeokuta not the original indigenes. Each kingdom control their area. The unity amongst them is what is making people to think they are all Egbas. Infact, there is no superiority within the kings . Alake was made the head so that at least one can represent then on import issue but they are all on the same level |

helinues:I completely agree with you on that...however...Remo/Ijebu are literally the same...but given the Owu/Egba dichotomy..it might just be okay to consider them separately. I also dont support ogun west fielding Yayi but we cannot predict politics to a T. |

helinues:The thought of this conversation just crossed my mind this afternoon while I was working. I couldn't help but smile. Although, the election is still far away, and so many things can still play out. As God is the ultimate controller of our very existence. However, I am still tempted to ask... Sir Helinues, should we, the Yewas, still forget it? |
