Any serious person should never thought of bringing Ogun Central person to be governor again after less than 8 years of Ibikunle Amosun rules. Besides I still can't justify why whenever is the turn of Ogun West to produce next governor people from Ogun Central (egbas) would still be dragging it with us as if Ogun State belongs to the alone. Let Otta alone merge with Lagos State they refused. For equality, justices and fairness it is the turn of Ogun West ( yewa / awori) to produce next governor after Dapo Abiodun. But Fe political jobbers would still be doing as if Ogun West is not part of Ogun State. By and large, this egbas can't do it alone with just 6 local governments. Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government votes alone would neutralize all Ogun Central local governments votes how much more of the remaining 5 local governments in our kits.

Since 1999 there was never a time Ogun Central was able to present a better candidate than Ogun West. Because we have them from Otta, Ilaro, Aiyetoro, Imeko-Afon Ogun West have well educated, resourceful, exposed, dynamic and vibrant leadership aspirants. As a matter of fact, non of the aspirants from Ogun Central possessed the qualifications possessed by the Ogun West candidates.

The beauty of it is that any Ogun Central to become Ogun State Governor can't do away with Ogun West local governments most especially Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government.

2027 is very much around the corner, we shall show them. We we shall only votes for any political party that field Ogun West indigen as the next Ogun State Governor in 2027.
Bco is coming!!!

Ofcourse agenda alone will not win election, but agenda will form the basis upon which an election can be won. Meanwhile, Triple A that Amosun tried to install is not an Egba agenda it was Amosun's agenda.

Traceable Egba son? Is this a governorship race or a Chieftaincy title application?
You people are drawing battle lines in Ake while the real decisions are being made in Iperu and Lagos. Continue playing 'Psychology' in Centenary Hall while your neighbors are playing real politics. If 'Egba Agenda' could win elections alone, Amosun would have successfully installed his successor. Joke of the year!

Bro, Ogun West had a good chance to produce the governor when Amosun was trying to bring in Triple A (Akinlande) but baba sope its eleyi from Remo that will do it. That set the agenda for Ogun west back for another 8years when we look at it from a rotational spectrum. Another issue for some of us is principally not about where the candidate is from but who is the candidate?
So 'Baba sope' wants to come and install one of his legendary scammer just like the present eleyi of Ogun State and because of the sentiments of where he is from which is still even contested ooo? But really, suffer no dey tire you people?
Anyways, competence should trump sentiments and someone like the BCO and any other better candidate should be given fair opportunity to govern the state.
Abeg, lets retire all these politicians who are only out there to steal, kill and destroy our common resources.

That's a wrong accusations that president Tinubu is trying to impose Yayi on Ogun state people. Ogun state is the most respected state by president Tinubu. He doesn't determine the affairs of the state. Get your facts right

In the Egba 5 kingdom Owu is part of it
There is Egba Ake,
Egba Oke ona, Egba Gbagura, Owu and Ibara.

They are all part of the Egba Kingdom

Even Ibara also is not Egba but they all believed to be Egba together.

Obj and Amosun are Owu they cannot say they are not Egba.

Only Ibara people will vehemently tell you that they are not Egba because they are egbado.

helinues:
Hahahah, Owu and Egba are different kingdom. Infact, there are 5 different kingdoms in Abeokuta but you can hardly know based on they have been relating

You see all those kingdoms, they are all settlers in Abeokuta not the original indigenes.

Each kingdom control their area. The unity amongst them is what is making people to think they are all Egbas.

Infact, there is no superiority within the kings . Alake was made the head so that at least one can represent then on import issue but they are all on the same level

I see Dr Biodun Collins Ogundipe of ADC in the pictures.

If ADC picks him as the candidate of the party, he won't have to be shopping for family house in Abẹ́òkúta like some candidates.

Maybe he will Ogun State best governor ever
Dr. Biodun Collins OGUNDIPE for Ogun 2027

Ogun State doesn't need another politician; it needs a leader who understands the future and is already living in it.

As we approach a pivotal moment in our dear state's history, the great people of Ogun State deserve more than the normal phase of usual rhetoric, recycled promises, and tired hands that have led us in each election cycle for decades.

We must reject undisciplined governance, unarticulated visions, and the stagnation that has consistently limited our progress.

Dr. Biodun Collins OGUNDIPE — a new kind of leader.

A brilliant and academically sound scholar, Dr. Biodun Collins Ogundipe (BCO) is not just book-smart; he is technically and technologically grounded, trained as an Aerospace Engineer, and seasoned Artificial Intelligence (AI) Professional.

Dr. Biodun Collins Ogundipe is a practical skills enthusiast and a youth leader, committed to empowering the next generation with not just promises, but platforms, programs, and purpose.

He is a leader of leaders, a manager of managers, and a man who doesn't just talk innovation and design — he builds them.

In a time when states are competing on knowledge, data, digital capacity, and sustainable development, Ogun State must not be left behind.

We need a state leadership who sees beyond today, who is not a product of the system, but a solution to it.

2027 is not just another election cycle; it's our opportunity to pivot toward excellence.

Gbenga Daniel is from Remo same as Dapo Abiodun . Ijebu are yet to have the taste of the governor, something they should be rotating within themselves

Dipo Dina should be from Ijebu side

Amosun is from Owu, Osoba is from Egba

Remo and Ijebu supposed to be playing same politics like Egba and Owu

As for the Yewa/Awori, I actually have no issue with them presenting the 2027 governor in the state but not Yayi.

Also, the Ogun West people have been the one working against themselves. Yayi, Akinlande and GNI might all come out from different party in 2027. If they can't unite and present common candidate apart from Yayi, then they are not ready yet
I completely agree with you on that...however...Remo/Ijebu are literally the same...but given the Owu/Egba dichotomy..it might just be okay to consider them separately.

I also dont support ogun west fielding Yayi but we cannot predict politics to a T.

You only ranted above without passing any meaningful message. I only highlighted same thing you listed above which you are still frowning at.

I have made my opinion clear on this forum .if Yewa will be presenting Yayi as governor in 2027, they should just forget about it
The thought of this conversation just crossed my mind this afternoon while I was working. I couldn't help but smile. Although, the election is still far away, and so many things can still play out. As God is the ultimate controller of our very existence.

However, I am still tempted to ask... Sir Helinues, should we, the Yewas, still forget it?

Here we go again! 😅 Who cares about the kingdoms. It is when people want to be mischievous that they will start highlighting the difference between Iru woro and Iru pete, whereas, we all know they belong to the same source. When it is the turn of any District, they can zone it to any of their sons or daughters, ko kan aye. But what nobody will do is arm-twist other zones to fit into their selfish agenda. Enough of this zoning nonsense. Out of 28 years, you've had 12 years, East 16, West 0, yet, it is your turn again? Jokers.

Like you guys will always say, the Ogun Governorship is not a gift, you have to fight for it. So we Westeners won't beg for it again, no more the marginalisation cry, or the scream of the "Yewa lokan" slogan. Let's go to the field and slug it out.

If it is not greed, out of the four Ministers from Ogun State, you have three. Out of the 2 ambassadorial nominees from ogun state, you have both. Still, you are laying claims to the Governorship slot in the next political dispensation as if it is kingship.

Las las, everybody go dey alright.
We are behind yewa people. Let us slug it out if egba think they have what it takes to win yewa dis time around in yayi.....
