I just bought a toks 2010 rav4 I4 sport, dual VVTI, ViN checked with clean title, no accident history. I kindly need your advice on the spec. oil to use in order to enjoy my ride fir a long time. blunt2dcore:The recommended oil is 0w20 or 5w20. The 4-cylinder has a factory defect and consume oil . The v6 would have been an excellent choice Mobil 1 5w30 high mileage is your best choice to start with . And you can monitor the oil consumption from there.... blunt2dcore:Use 5w30 engine oil. If it is a full synthetic brand, you run it 6000kms 8000kms or 6months whichever comes first If it is a mineral oil, you run it for 3000kms or 3months whichever comes first 1 Like |
