| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by AirBere: 10:10am On Dec 21, 2025 |
andrewbaba44:The funny thing about the "PL proven" stuff is that it's now moved from PL proven, that is a player who have actually played and proven himself in the EPL to something like a player who played/is playing in the EPL. For example, people will genuinely look at Sancho, Oscar Boob, Harvey Eliot, Nwaneri, Madueke, Odorbet, Garnacho, Savio, James MCtee, Hutchinson, etc and consider them as PL proven when the correct term is simply "Played in EPL" or players with EPL experience. Let's say we want to get a winger today. Players like Morgan Rodgers, Semenyo, Mitouma, Mbeumo, Ndiaye, Bowen, etc. are PL proven. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Trevor012(m): 10:46am On Dec 21, 2025 |
AirBere:Ndiaye has only had one full season in the league so how is he pl proven. Mitouma stats are even worst than Garnacho. Morgan Rogers basically broke out last season |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by AirBere: 10:57am On Dec 21, 2025 |
Trevor012:Ndiaye is like Raphinha and Luiz Diaz. He passes the eye test and playing out of position this season. You can tell that he needs a top club soonest. Rodges is absolutely PL proven right now. Will start for all clubs in EPL right now in their LWF position. Mitouma(injury prone) is a better all round player. If he played for Chelsea I doubt fans here will complain much the way they do with Garnacho.. He(Dr dribble) can assist and make dood decisions. For Garnacho, he plays like an academy player and rushes everything. He has huge potential but not ready yet. Fine, let's say we want to narrow it really down then I'll go with Semenyo, Mbeumo, Bowen and of course Agba Rodgers. |

AirBere:in other words your theory is just vibes and inshallah? How is Morgan and Ndiaye EPL proven and Garnacho and co are not. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by AirBere: 2:13pm On Dec 21, 2025 |
Sportsweb:In the post you quoted, I've narrowed it down without including him (Ndiaye). But my personal opinion is that he can improve a top team unlike Garnacho, MCtee, Hutchinson, Sancho and co.... In my opinion, Rodgers is EPL proven right now or should I say more starter ready and will start at Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, United and maybe City etc. Not so sure about City because Pep changes his line up alot. However, he'll absolutely improve Arsenal(LWF), Chelsea (LWF) Liverpool (LWF). It's just an opinion, not fixed in stone. |

raumdeuter:When Tosin was rumoured before he eventually joined, they called him "PL proven" But Tosin proved absolutely nothing in the EPL. He only just played in the league. So the correct term is "played in EPL". Murillo in his first season proved to be EPL caliber more than Tosin who has spent all his life playing English football. For me when you say a player is EPL proven then that player should be absolutely worth it. Guehi is EPL proven, Joachim Anderson, Konza, Van Hecke, Milenkovic, are some example of defenders playing for "small clubs" but have proven to be EPL caliber. You can't call error bound/mentally weak players like Micheal Keean, Max Kilman, Tosin etc. EPL proven simply because they've been playing in the league for so long. What exactly did they prove in the league? |

lordfalcao:Nwanne inwere efe oo After 17 matches last season with Jackson that is holding the team back, we have scored 37 goals, winning 10 games with 35 points. Today, after chasing Jackson, the stumbling block away and replace him with two sweet "Number 9", we have scored a whooping 29 goals, winning a whole 8 matches and amassing as much as a whole 29 points! Lest I forget, we are also celebrating Jackson replacement "equaliser". What a massive improvement from last season! Omor... Jackson really showed us pepper. |

raumdeuter:Mount is the only player in that list worthy of the title “PL proven”. And maybe Cunha. You see your Garnacho, Keke Napep, Delap and co, they are half baked one (or half) season wonder. |

This is why I was pushing for signing Rogers in the summer. It had to be him. Rogers will replace exactly what Enzo is doing four us tactically and more. Aston Villa wanted £60m or thereabout. Now we can't get a call back with £120m. |
