This is serious but not surprising from someone who graduated from an high school before the said institution was established. If the first citizen of a country can brazenly do this, then the country is indeed a " now disgraced country" However some of those crying wolf are illegally mining gold and other national resources in their regions thereby defrauding the very country they claim to love more than what the current tax (task) masters are out to steal. Sorry! the foundation of the National assembly is already destroyed by the type of leadership it produces ab initio so there's nothing the crying wolves can do. Otherwise this is a serious impeachable offense |

Which Lawmakers Are you people talking about? How many are Experts in Tax Laws Or Is it not what their Tribes or Kingsmen-is driving and that is Unpatriotic because Real Patriotism is Unique Not What One Traditional Rulers or their Ethnic leaders says! For those asking for evidence, specific sections have been quoted to have been tampered with now by sitting Honorable members who had and still have access to both the one the NA passed and the one the FG gazette, what more do you need? |

Host78:Whao! I thought I'm the only one that discovered that deceit. Because I'm still trying to see those that are really exempted from that bracket. If it was to have human face as they claim it ought not to be anything below #1m as tax free owning to the valuelessness of naira. |

Bluntemperor:Have you confirmed if the allegations are true or false? How can the president signed into law a different bill from the one passed by national assembly? This is a democratic tyranny and must not be allowed to stand if found to be true, if not it will come back to haunt all of us |

LOOTERS LEGISLATURES ARE AFRAID OF PROSECUTION WITH THE LAW CATEGORICALLY THREATENING THEM TO FACE A DRASTIC ACTION FOR THEIR EVIL. UP TILL NOW THEY COULD NOT EVEN POINT OUT THE SIGNIFICANT PART OF THE GAZZETTE THAT WAS ALTERED BUT ARE BASING THEIR JUDGEMENT ON ILLUSIONS. |

fergie001:Reverend Ezekiel has exposed them. He said they would reject the Tax Reform Bill. Ordinarily I wouldn't have posted anything because of what nairaland has become but because of deep respect I have for Reverend Ezekiel opinion I have to post something. I did earlier on SERAP post because of the earlier information given by Reverend Ezekiel. Fortunately, the members are all from the North and they are all Muslim. I am aware they are making efforts to get some people from South East to support them. Senator Abdul Ningi raised an alarm of double 2024 budget and budget padding of 3.7 trillion naira, we know how it ended. I will continue later but I have to post something about BUHARI achievement in Kano and part of the North which I saw on Facebook below . Below are some of the landmark Projects embarked on by Buhari and his cabals in Kano State; 1. Reconstruction of Kano to Abuja Expressway (Kano-Zaria-Kaduna Section commissioned by Buhari) 2. Reconstruction of Kano -Maiduguri Expressway 3. Rehabilitation of Kano to Katsina Road. 4. Ongoing $1.2billion Kaduna to Kano standard guage Railway. 5. Ongoing $1.9billion Kano to Maradi Railway. 6. The $2.8billion Ajakuta-Kaduna-Kano Gas Pipeline with A power station in Kano. 7. Built and commissioned $16million 10MW solar project at Kumbutso (Challawa industry estate) 8. Completed and commissioned Dala inland Dry port with rail link. 9. Built and commissioned the New World Class International Terminal at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport. 10. Commissioned Gari irrigation project between Kano and Jigawa 11. Commissioned Tier 4 National Data centre in Kano (the first in Northern Nigeria) 12. Rehabilitated the Kano western bypass 13. He commissioned 469 Low Income Family Homes Estate in Darmanawa. 14. Establishment of Naval Base (School of Logistic) 15. Establishment of Federal Polytechnic 16. Establishment of New Correctional Center 17. They benefitted hugely from all Buhari's Agric interventions including Anchor Borrowers Program. 18. Kano state benefitted hugely from the NPower initiatives, Conditional Cash Transfer, Trader Moni, and Farmers Moni. 19. Kano state school children benefitted from the FG homegrown school feeding program 20. Kano youth just like youth from other states also benefitted from the FG youth empowerment programs like the 75 billion NYIF, the Special Public Works Programme to provide 3-month employment to 774,000 young Nigerians across the country (1,000 beneficiaries per LGA), the $20 million Fund for Nigerian Tech Innovators and Entrepreneurs, AADS, CIFI, DEEL, EEP, P-YES etc. The above excluded several other projects and intervention in the North. The Social welfare fund under Sadia the humanitarian Minister had a large chunks channeled to North (about 70%). A large chunks of Nigeria's resources committed to Defence and National Security Budget because of Boko Haram, ISWAP, Banditry and Kidnapping. About 80% of Agricultural loans are irrecoverable without commensurate output with excuses placed on flooding and inabilities to access farm due to security concerns. Nobody complained about the above from the South. The members complaining about forged Tax Reform Bill signed by the President should present to the public the original harmonized Tax Reform Bill approved by the National Assembly. |

Nigerians, this is not time to yarn okpata. You all better stand up against this tax reform bill. Nigeria is too blessed with natural and human resources to owe anyone a penny. If our leaders insist we are owing they should pay by cutting their salaries and allowances. Allow Nigerians to breath fresh air |
