This one of the reasons Nigeria has been co-signed to dust bin. The so-called Nigerians, who claimed to be in the know, are the same goons who milk the public into submission. |

ebukal67x:What's good about it Government does nothing in disposing old vehicles All this unnecessary levies is just to make life more difficult Iron condem already purchases vehicles at the end of it life and remolds them into something else of which those companies would still pay tax to the government, so what's the use of this levy |

Islie:Being in Business is not Government business. Let the Private Sector continue to drive this while Government only regulate. It will be another avenue to budget money that won't be used for the outlined purposes. Let the Auto Second hand Market continue to be Private Sector driven. This one no concern Government at all. If you can hands-off other critical Sectors, Auto Second hand market shouldn't be the one you need to enter. |

Shameless cr.oo.oooks! All they know is pay this, pay that! Ordinary electricity that is readily available in other countries is a mystery here. Not one single positive thing the Ordinary Nigerian has enjoyed since 2023 that this man grabbed, snatched, and ran away with the mandate! |

budaatum:If all these epistle of yours is driven towards campaign for the man who imports toothpicks and foreign milk into Nigeria then you better try hard because there's just no way under heaven he will become the president. If you think Tinubu is underperforming and you need a viable alternative, will you support Sowore? Of course no. |

They are building Nigeria for the future, but this generation is one to pay the price. I can relate with them because there is no two ways to it. |

Tinubu's govt is here for nothing innovative and transformative than to milk 200m Nigerians without the hope of a glimpse of anything close to what "Renewed Hope" actually means in reality. For whatever cause you his fanboys and girls have to believe in his ways, let him just disappear and his entire history and doings in office will fade faster than the deeds of many now forgotten State Governments since 1999. The Nigerian population is nothing but tally figures to strike pennies from them without a chance to help them with Better Education Better Trade and Commerce Better Transport Reform in Health sector Security solutions Improvement in Standard of Living Changes in Cost of Living job creations Its all about capturing State Governors to join before 2027. O maa se o!! It is hilarious sha. What a legacy!!! |

In other words, vehicle registration is going to increase. These people will stop at nothing until they start to tax the air being breathed and the ozone layer depletion by generator usage. The revenue will be stolen and used to buy more SUVs and starched agbadas. Shameless fuuuuuls |

In developed countries, when you buy a new vehicle, during registration, you make a payment towards the disposal of that vehicle when it reaches the end of its life.. What part of Nigeria did they confuse to be a developed country? |

43Ronin:..the Tinubu government is just looking for money to pay back the loans they collected and debts... and also looking for money to fund their high costs of governance and luxurious life style and also enrich themselves..so they have put the burden on Nigerians to do this through tax |

Every new policy from this government comes with the same meaning: pay more, suffer more, ask no questions. Fuel subsidy was removed and life became unbearable. The naira was floated and everything exploded in price. Transport, food, rent, cars, survival itself is now expensive. Now, in the middle of hunger and insecurity, the government wants to introduce a vehicle recycling fee. This is not reform. This is insensitivity. Before adding another charge, explain where the trillions saved from fuel subsidy went. Nigerians cannot fund policies when they cannot feed their families. You cannot talk about “modernising the auto industry” while citizens are struggling to stay alive. People are not rejecting recycling; they are rejecting a government that keeps piling costs on a population already crushed by inflation and unemployment. Enough is enough. Fix accountability. Fix living conditions. Stop taxing survival. |

HgAkpobomeEr:Good initiative to generate revenue for stealing by Tinubu to bribe politicians? Bribe politicians for his reelection and then use it for his 3rd term to get life president like Biya? Tinubu is set to succeed where Obasanjo failed despite his Ghana must go bags of NASS bribes. NaijaRoyalty: |
