Super Eagles squad numbers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations have been made available by the Confederation of African Football, CAF, DAILY POST reports.


Talismanic forward Victor Osimhen will keep his number 9 shirt, while newly appointed captain Wilfred Ndidi maintains his regular number 4 shirt.

Lazio midfielder, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru will wear the iconic number 10, while regulars Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze, and Frank Onyeka maintain their number 7, 11, and 8 shirt.


New invitees Salim Fago, Ebenezer


Akinsanmiro, Ryan Alebiosu and Tochukwu Nnadi will wear numbers 25, 26, 27 and 28 respectively.

The Super Eagles are gunning for a fourth title in Morocco.a


Eric Chelle’s side will open their campaign against the Taifa Stars of Tanzania in Fès next week Tuesday.

The Eagles can not go to hell and they will not go to hell.
They remain one of the best teams in Africa and are one of the teams that have the capacity to lift the cup.

You guys blame the boys but fail to look back and check their startup with the wack coach Finidi. Even Okocha came out to say sometime that Finidi was the major reason the Eagles couldn't qualify for the WC.
If we had started the campaign with the current coach, Nigeria would have been one of the earliest countries that qualified.

Be that as it may, these boys are up to the task.

No one is going to hell among them.

And if they eventually did not win the Cup. Life happened to them. It is not all the time one wins.

The dull boring useless songs have slowed down the SE and make them play like pregnant women. Even when their opponents play with high intensity, the SE tend to drag them to play at a walking pace. Sometimes one begin to think they play the passes in synchronization with the boring slow songs from the Supporters club.

No team in the world plays with slow boring instrumentals like SE. Until they dump the old school supporters club, SE will keep struggling with lesser teams..

Jun/Jul has never been the typical AFCON schedule. It's usually been Jan/Feb. Most of Sub-saharan Africa has rainy season for Jun/Jul

This is exactly what I said. Why AFCON during Christmas? This is wickedness from CAF and FIFA they don't want people to have peace of mind Christmas watching S Eagle depressive performance.
