However, if you have selected the Minister of Power (Adelabu) to help you organize the APC, he doesn't have the capacity, I told the President. He said No No Seyi, it's you I want to help me organize the APC in Oyo State, and I said No Sir, I can never help you organize the APC in Oyo State because I am of the PDP. So, if we have a Government of National Unity, a Government of National competence, we would have been in a very different environment right now.

He should also allow us also to do our own thing. That is just the issue between Me and Wike and I confided in a mutual friend of ours after that meeting and I kept thinking okay, the President didn't ask him please do this for me. He was the one that volunteered to do that. And I was telling our mutual friend, maybe he is talking about an errand that the President never sent him, so let's watch, let's engage him, let's see if he will back out and when he didn't and I said yes, now it's time to confront him because I told him from that day that I will never be a part of this.

And that is why I will not be supporting the President for 2027, Wike can support him, it's within his rights and also it's within my rights to decide within the political space whom I will support or what I will do in 2027.

Didn't Gov Seyi Makinde and other 4 Governors of the G-5 "held" PDP for the President Tinubu in 2023

Wike will be the greatest loser very soon. Fubara will take full control of the State and there is nothing Wike can do. It's either he align or they will bend him.

No one should come here and be blaming Tinubu of destabilising opposition. Why can't opposition parties organise themselves and put their house in order? So a whole Atiku, a former VP cannot stand his ground and hold PDP ensuring the party never go down? Any govt in power will always want to subdue the opposition, it is left for the opposition to hold themselves together and fight the govt in power.
