We cannot win this tournament if we dont improve significantly.
We need to play 4-3-3. A midfield of 2 players alone Iwobi and Ndidi cannot survive tougher teams
Our defence na sieve and cannot be trusted to bail us out
Individual brilliance can only push us so far until we meet stronger teams

These are my inference not just from todays game but from the entire WC qualifier

I think we played a variation of 4-4-3 especially in the first half with Chukwueze drifting to middle and progressing the ball through the middle.

Iwobi passing was crisp today and I think Ndidi actually tried.

The defense is the actual worry. Semi Ajayi seems like a Tosin regen, the less said about Zaidu the better. Nwalabi is another headache.

A team will a good attacking force will punish us.

Yeah but the first half, Chukwueze was helping the midfield to progress the ball. If not that Chukwueze tried off in the second half, we could've seen more of that.

I expect us to improve in the second game though.

We need to somehow find a way to ease Zaidu out of the National team, the guy dey gba seriously and the earlier we start looking for a no 1 goalkeeper the better for us.

BTW larride Chukwueze was just drifting in field because both Akor and Osimhen were willing to run the channels, and Osayi was bombing forward as needed

Part of the reason the defence is suspect (aside the fact that Calvin is the only capable hand there) is that they get very little protection centrally

Ndidi's legs are gone and Iwobi cannot be everywhere.
