Nigeria is ranking 175 out of 195 countries in the world. Our education system is bottom level.

Nigerians nah number 175 we dey for the list oo, its painful, but not surprising. We have brilliant minds in Nigeria, yet poor funding, unstable policies, strikes, and neglect keep dragging the system down. Talent is not our problem, leadership and priorities are.

I’m currently in the South East, and normally by late November we would have started feeling harmattan — cooler weather, dry air, dusty breeze, at least some signs.

But now, just a day to Christmas, everywhere is still hot. No harmattan breeze, no dryness, no dusty mornings. It honestly feels more like February or March than December.

This feels very unusual to me. In all my years on earth, I can’t remember a December like this.

Is anyone else experiencing the same thing in their area?
Could this be climate change, or is this just one of those rare weather shifts?

Well, the fact is, poor countries that don't want to pay for good education system will get a poor education system

That is all I have to say.

NIgerians don't get it. If you tell them how to get to where the big countries are, they will call you obident or agbado.

The way politics is played here, everyone is arguing and fighting for their patron, be it tinubu, atiku or obi, or gej, or buhari, or whoever. No one is fighting for Nigeria.

How can your university education be on strike for one good year and you still want such a country to be in top countries with good educational system?
In 2013,I experienced one full year of strike in a stretch in the university.

Where then is the time to even learn the theory you are talking about?
Though as a science student,I should not even allow other countries' students to hear that there was no functional/well equipped labs for me to learn the practical aspect of my course bcuz it's so shameful.
So being in that number 175 ,to me..oo,it is like we are being favoured.
We should be ranked lower than that.

Nigeria doesn't disappoint, we always fighting for the bottom of every positive index.

I have always known that Nigeria has one of the worst education system. For crying out loud, the JAMB and the post JAMB process is exploitative and should be outdated and scrapped.
It is even more unjust that candidates who have already passed JAMB are forced to go through post-JAMB screening without any assurance of admission, let alone being offered the course they applied for. This system places unnecessary financial, emotional, and psychological burdens on students and their families, while offering no transparency or certainty in return.
