I started watching Pluribus yesterday.

I'm on episode 7 and I have to say this is by far the slowest episode of any Vince Gilligan project.

This is coming from someone who loves every Vince Gilligan work. From Breaking Bad to Better Call Saul and El Camino.

Pluribus is a good show but I pity who dey watch am week to week.

This is a show you binge under 24 hours.

Episode 7 is 45 minutes long and nothing interesting happened until the very end.

Imagine watching an almost pointless episode and waiting a whole week for the next one.

I'm glad I waited for all the episodes to drop before diving in.

This show has thought me to start judging some books by their covers😑 cos wth!

Good show. Not as good as Giligan's other shows, definitely the weakest of them. But still a good show.

I don't understand why it's 9 episodes long. Should have been cut down to 7.

Episode 7 still dey vex me. I should have fast forwarded the damn thing.

Pluribus is a decent 7/10

I have come to strongly trust my convictions on media consumption these days. I saw the first 2 episodes and instantly knew this show wasn't for me, no point forcing it.

And all i have heard about it since, it's how slow and lagging the show is, even up to last week's episode.

I know Vince Gilligan's style is this slow paced build up whilst hoping for a big payoff, it worked with me with BB and BCS, but mann, I am way past that era and have zero alloted patience,. moreso the fact that i have fully convinced myself, i can't possibly see every media out there, i sadly have to let some go, and this is definitely one of those.

The entire season could have been 6 episodes.

That episode 7 was so slow that the entire episode could have been done in 10 minutes or less. The director clearly wanted us to feel everything the characters were feeling eveb their boredom and to show how ultimately humans are social beings that rely on each other...

It was just overdone and we could have had the same effect in 10 minutes. I ended up forwarding half the episode anyway...

Episodes 1 and 2 had decent pacing and since then the show developed snail pacing. I even stopped at episode 6 for weeks before I binged the last 3 episodes today...

The finale was good but makes the entire season feel like nothing but a set up for season 2. It took ages for Carol to finally come to a decision...
Her entire character went from wanting to destroy the hive, to feeling empathy towards them and now back to destroying them when her life is on the line...

Honestly, I feel like Carol has been incredibly stùpid this season. She somehow doesn't ask the right questions or make the right requests.
She didn't tell them to cut the long telephone voice message, she didn't ask them where they were experimenting on her eggs...

Since they can't lie, get the info and nuke the place or something. Destroy both your eggs and the experiment...

I guess I wasn't wrong to judge it by its cover when I first saw it.

The only good thing about this show is that it makes me want to rewatch the old Spartacus series.

Season 5 of Stranger Things feels like an afterthought.

It feels like something Netflix sanctioned because they want to milk the show a bit longer.

Season 5 is by far the worst season.

The whole thing is a mess.

I'm very disappointed.

That scene is so unrealistic.

Stranger Things is set in 80's

No homosexual in the 80's is coming out in a room full of 15 people.

The guy is not even close friends with some of the people in that room.

Steve and Murray were in that room and I can't remember the last time any of them had a conversation with Will.t

Kali was also there. A complete stranger that no one in that room knows except El.

What is she even doing there

Lastly, Will Byers is an introvert and would never come out in a room of 15 people.

Robin likes to talk and she has been a lesbian since season 3. Steve is the only one she voluntarily revealed her sexuality to.

But Will the introvert announced his gayness to 15 people at once.

This is a show that is set in the 80's. The 80's ffs not 2025.

Make it make sense.

Edit: Robin's nurse girlfriend was also there.

There are at least 5 people that shouldn't be there and most of them, if not all, haven't spoken a word to Will since season 1.

They've been talking about knowing your identity like few episodes back,so will believing in his Gay self kinda help in defeating Vecna I guess smh

I swear. I was pissed. Something that had absolutely nothing to do with killing of Vecna or the plot, and more annoying, something avid fans of this show already knows. they just reduced the intensity of that episode because of gay stuff

What annoys me the most is they used 24 hours to shoot that useless scene.

Bro, the episode was fire till Will's revelation of being gay. It's clear example of how an episode can go from 100 to 10 for doing unnecessarily stewpeed stuff. I mean, they'd have done the revelation at the the beginning of many episodes, instead they ushered us into an epic finale with an anti-climatic scene.

In short, Vecna can win at this point because of this dumb act. 😭😭😭

Stranger Things went from being character-driven to becoming extremely plot-driven it ruined the whole vibe.

Even the plot doesn't make sense anymore. It's gotten so convoluted. Duffer Brothers have completely fumbled it.
