from the reputable German media house, DW news, it is clearly stated that Ghana mediate by sending Lt Col Rtd Larry Gbevlo-Lartey, and that is Ghana's Special Envoy, to the Alliance of Sahelian States and that is not a biggy or unnecessary pride. Nigeria can also play the same similar role for Ghana assuming Ghana has the same issues with Nigeria direct friendly neighbor

Anyway, for your information, Burkina Faso share almost the same family relationship with the people of Ghana North just like Niger does with Nigeria . They are the same family in a self imposed geographical location.

Involving Ghana is a strategic decision.

no body involved Ghana, in the Negotiation, why not give us detailed Info on the role Ghana played.
After bombing Benin, we then require Ghana to mediate what exactly.
It was good we were deplomatic in their release,
Military action would have followed if Burkina Faso refused.

Gold boom is not what drove it there. The expansion of our economy happened even before the gold boom.

We saw a massive increase in consumer spending this year

more consumer spending is what will supercharge the Ghanaian economy.

Kenya has prioritized ICT and digital tech.
Everywhere including villages fiber is being role.
I think we have 2M fiber connections to homes - better than South Africa

Bank of Ghana, pointing towards substantial numbers, though it's dominated by used cars, with annual imports around 100,000 (90% used) versus fewer new sales. The 300,000+ figure might reflect total vehicles (new & used) or perhaps an overestimation, but growth is definitely strong for new registrations.

The 300 000 is government aims to achieve but currently ghana is at 100 000 with 90% of those being used cars!

Yesterday night , I found myself in the Nairobi CBD at 7:00 pm—and what I saw was unsettling. The city was already shutting down. Shops closed, lights off, streets thinning out. For a moment, it felt less like the capital of East Africa and more like a rural town where business ends at 6:00 pm sharp.

This is not nostalgia speaking; it’s concern. Nairobi was built on a 24-hour economy—hustle, movement, trade, energy. That rhythm is what made it competitive, attractive, and alive. A city that sleeps early is a city retreating, not advancing.

What changed? Is it insecurity, over-taxation, harassment, collapsing purchasing power, or policy fatigue? Probably all of it. But the result is the same: businesses no longer see value in staying open, and citizens no longer feel safe or solvent enough to circulate at night.

Let’s be honest: you don’t become Singapore by closing shop at sunset. Global cities work late because opportunity works late. Capital flows where activity is constant. When a city goes dark early, ambition dims with it.
This should worry all of us.

A capital city that shuts down before nightfall is quietly announcing economic distress. And unless we confront it honestly—policy by policy, street by street—we’ll keep romanticizing progress while living its opposite.

Singapore is the wrong analogy to make.

As someone who is constantly in Singapore, most things close between 8 and 9pm in Singapore and it includes bars, club, restaurants and shops.

This is not to takeaway from what you wrote

so Trump enter Nigeria air space because of oil. Why not try it with Russia . Russia is also an oil producing rich nation.

The simple truth is, Nigeria is a weakling nation and so are other many African country too. This is the reason Ghana becomes the forefront promoter of unity when it comes to togetherness of Africa. Imagine Africa under one military command, would anybody from western country just wake up and decide to bomb Nigeria because of her own domestic issues.

Till we form an alliance, that is how they we be kicking us with their timberland boot . We don't have both the economic and military strength to enter into gentleman agreement with this wild lions . They need to face an equally economic and military capable country like them in other to bring them into a reasonable ground. Just like china and Russia, their strong rival

It

Its 150 000 on year to year basis, as writen from the very link you sent

90% still used
you have a reading and comprehension problem.
150,000 from January to July.
A 35% increase on a year to year basis which is compared to same time last year volume..

I don't know what you see to gain with your used and new argument. A used car in Ghana cost just as much as a brand new one (MSRP). Usually ranging from 30,000 USD to the absurd

20,000 unit of that volume is brand new

Sanusi lamido of Kano representing the Fulani visiting Ghana to help meditate on the non inclusion of fulanis in Ghana. Fulani are the only set of tribe's who does not care about artificial boarder. They consider everyplace home.

This is concerning, what's his business with fulani in ghana.
Am sure he is there due to the recent treatment of some notorious herder in Ghana.
Ghana should not let him sweet talk them to allow trouble makers in their country in other not to face what alot of west African countries re facing currently.
Almost 7 countries having issue with only one ethnic.
Everyone of them having herder issue, na only them be the first ethnic to rear cow in this world
Wetin happen gan gan.

I don't think Nigeria allowed America to violate their airspace, Americans are just retarded like that. Also, they want to secure Nigerian oil for themselves.

About the alliance, West African coups make it unfeasible not to mention the wars in Sudan, DRC etc. Ecowas was a step towards the right direction but they cant even enforce law and order in member states just like SADC abd the EAC. We should first tie each other to the ankles economically like the Euro zone, the political and military alliances will follow naturally.
