Omoawoke:I don't hold such dreams to start with and in as much as I would agree with you that the US is the land of opportunities..... isn't it about time Africa gets it's act together.....why the f would they destroy or refuse to join hands in Nation building because they think they can find solace somewhere else...... reality is setting in and THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME.....and that home needs to be fixed. |

Mattswaggz:You are very correct, there’s no place like home And fixing that home may involve people migrating to understand and assimilate how others are doing theirs better and bringing the experience back home |

Omoawoke:Funny enough most Nigerians don't migrate with such mentality....they migrate to stay there and even to use it to oppress the one's back home.....the ones that migrate to understand certain things and come back home mostly turn out to be the political class and/or those with terrible mindset or easily Influenced(negatively) mindset. Any help that would lift Africa needs to come from within.......while the world was engaging in self development, spending massively and dedicating time to knowledge that'll help them grow and even have the edge over others Africans stood doing nothing......and since the truth is that you can't truth anyone (which Africans have been learning and still learning the hard way)......we either find that strength other used to be where they are...that patriotism, that self love or else it'll continue....Today it's Trump tomorrow it'll be another country that no one even expects to be doing such....you can clearly see how they easily turn their backs on blacks who have done them proud if they make a simple mistake.....they remind them of their roots and link them to their roots. |

Flangelo12:Far from envious....not everyone thinks like you.... that's why I'd rather me grow and give back to Nigeria in anyway I can even if it ends up amounting to nothing (though it wouldn't).....than go where I'd be viewed as a stranger and always reminded of my roots. Blacks are hardly respected anywhere because we have failed to command that respect.....keep attacking Trump you can see that even Europeans are clamouring for leaders that are brutal about clamping down on immigration (especially from Africa). |
