The Katsina State Hisbah Board has destroyed thousands of crates of confiscated alcoholic drinks in Bakori town, within the Funtua local government area of the state.

The exercise was disclosed in a statement issued on Sunday by the Information officer of the Hisbah Board in Abdul Baki Mustapha.

According to the statement, DC Bashir Lawal Balarabe alongside other Hisbah commanders from the Funtua zone, supervised the destruction of the seized alcohol

The Hisbah Board said the action was aimed at protecting societal moral values.
