Please president Trump should sustain offensive on terrorists target in Nigeria till northern leaders gather sense and boldly point out the terrorists sponsors. I hate many Trump policies but somehow his government has always been a blessing to Nigeria. His first term saw lifting of arm embargo, his second term is bombing of terrorists troubling Nigeria. Nigeria has lost tens of thousands of soldiers to this deliberate crime sponsors by northern elites and rich men many of them hiding in UAE and some living among them in Nigeria well known. Governor of Borno state, The Emirs even the Sultan never for ones charged at these sponsors by calling them out, they only derived pleasures in blaming Nigerian government and the military. Our soldiers have children, wives and parents. We should stop wasting their lives since 2009. Let's seek foreign assistance to stop this killing of innocent lives. |

All these Agbadorians and Tinubu APC supporters are so shameless. Just a couple of weeks ago, when Trump threatened to take action against terrorists and bandits committing heinous crimes in Nigeria, they were screaming their lungs out. Suddenly, it was “Nigeria is a sovereign nation.” They called Trump a bully and made ridiculous comparisons to U.S. interventions in places like Libya. Now, they’ve made a complete 180-degree turnaround and are praising the same Trump. |

From “there’s no genocide, Trump is coming for our resources” to “Trump should sustain his offensive against the terr***sts” Agbadorians will flip on you in a blink of an eye. They praised Buhari for 8 years, then flipped on him soon after he left office. Chameleons 100% |

Ofunaofu:Keep quiet. You are no better than bandits and terrorists from the North given the terrorism, fueled by the same extremiism motivating Northerners, emanating from your SE region also. Sensible Nigerians insisting our Nation is a sovereign Country the USA must respect and work with, rather than bomb dictatorially, make the right call for today, tomorrow and always 100%. Especially in regards to future generations unborn who would be forced to live with the grave danger of letting American war machine determine which Nigerians liver die in our own land when it should be Nigerian armed might, with assistance from others, that power must lie with today and always. That is what must happen according to international law and all treaty related to military operation by an army in the Country of others. We have not threatened the USA directly or indirectly so any attack by them against Nigerian we have not sanctioned is a crime. Simple. Yet we cannot expect someone from a region that hates Nigeria and Nigerians, that is always seeking the destruction of the "Zoo", to understand this simple yet pivotal concept. |

nairalanda1:What Party line has changed? Trump threatened military action against Nigeria over "Christian Genocide". Nigeria and the entire world stood against him to remind the megalomaniac that our Nation is a sovereign nation international law forbids any army to attack when we have not directly or indirectly threatened their territorial integrity or interest. America withdrew and accepted the diplomatic and correct option of working with Nigeria as a joint task force. Those of us who love our nation yet insisted on her sovereignty applauded that move. Today is the first strike of that joint alliance convened by Nigeria and the USA most sensible and pragmatically mature Nigerians backed. The USA has thanked Nigeria for her assistance and cooperation. It is you who should tell us "what Party line has changed" because I don't see it from the perspective of adult who take principled and measured stances they stick with. |

Biodun556:What if the terrorists head south to retaliate? This whole thing has been largely confined to the remote north so far. What if these American airstrikes spreads the violence to your southern doorstep and you're now scared to go to Shoprite or the market because a terrorist bomb went off? This is the kind of thing that started happening in Iraq after the US invaded to 'save' them. |
| Re: Trump So Barbaric But Has Always Being a Blessing To Nigeria by WizardOfNG: 4:48am On Dec 26, 2025 |
Kemetian:The bolded is plain wrong. Different scenarios completely. The USA is not an invading force in Nigeria as it was in Iraq. They are working with Nigeria formally as an alliance of both nations set up to defeat terror threatening to cripple and destroy Nigeria. The EU should be solicited to join also if we are smart and wish to leverage successfully on this current state of affairs that could be an opportunity to defeat Fulani terror once and for all and redraw our constitution, plus negotiate our union, moving forward The fact is that Nigeria has been in a state of emergency for a long time. Just that the average Nigerian adult is too childish and irresponsible to confront this fact. Their minds is completely consumed with thoughts of 'igbadun' the extent many Nigerians fail to accept evil lurks around us. Sometimes things must get worse before it gets better. Let the South preparer to protect herself and let the President use this opportunity to accelerate the birth of State/regional policing and placement of "heavily armed" forest guards everywhere. There cannot be gradualist or half measured fight against killers who wish to exterminate us. We get rid of them or they finish us all. That is the option. Not fear of reprisal that will then limit us to never ever acting until terrorist are at our door anyway. Yes we entered uncharted territory with the bombing led by the USA today on Nigerian soil. Yet it was always inevitably going to get to this level as Fulani terror has only grown in scale and impunity over time, especially as it has become a tool to blackmail Southerne President out of power, meaning something must give. We cannot continue like this. What must happen is for a next wave of of arrest and jailing of sponsors of terror against the many evil individuals wanting to make the brutal and bloody killings of innocent Nigerians our reality for good. |

The Terrorists and Bandits from elsewhere already undermined Nigeria’s sovereignty and security We see how the US destroyed Libya and we don’t want US bombing Nigeria It would be better if FG got the UK to help us to do what US is doing Nigeria and UK have a long term relationship that goes way back Trump is very greedy and May be eyeing Nigeria’s Mineral resources |

Hmmmm. This is heavy. I believe that some of those northern elite sponsors who are not yet arrested are living among them in Lagos and Abuja. They know them. |

WizardOfNG:Fair points. But never forget the old saying that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. It all sounds good on paper, but Nigeria is a very complex place, and this could go pear-shaped if the bombing continues. |

I like Trump for one thing. If he makes a promise, he always tries to keep them. That's exactly what he's doing in America. Agba..dorians can wail on! More strikes are coming! I know that many Nigerians don't have regards for human lives. But some of us who know how precious human lives are approve these strikes 100%. It took a Donald Trump to intervene before these people start taking the fight against insurgency seriously. The US should send their Marines across states in the north. Air strikes are not enough. Foot soldiers should go after these terrorists, their financiers and sympathizers. |

Kemetian:You are right but what have we not tried? I am personally fed up as insecurity reduces every other effort at progressive governance to near zero. Something has to give and I endorse this move because Fulanis, leaders and followers, have become unholy blackmailers of Nigeria while actually the least populous of the large ethnic group. They аre only emboldened to be worse and more deadly by national inaction from us all. Just look at how Gumi speaks publicly as if he is bigger than our NSA, defence Minister and Preisident. Look at the provocative and nauseating warning Gumi issues our armed forces personnel below warning rhe not to "provoke" bandits after to "respect" peace deal reached ? In reality, do bandits (A) respect peace deals or are they (B) emboldened to commit even greater atrocities after deals are agreed? I think me and you know that B is our proven reality Nigeria must act bro or we are all dead sooner or later because Fulani terrorist grow stronger and gather in bigger number within Nigeria, from accross sub-Saharan Africa and elsewhere, as we dilly dally. If anything, action that proactively takes the fight to them can lead to re-drafting of our constitution to give regions more powers to protect themselves. What is sure is that we cannot continue like this with kidnapping and death everywhere daily as the norm in Nigeria today. https://www.ripplesnigeria.com/dont-provoke-bandits-after-peace-deals-in-katsina-sheikh-gumi-warns-military/

ebukal67x:Correct only so far as we are given the full legal and constitutional power (eg through regional autonomy with full control over our security) to protect ourselves. If that is not the case then terrorism will not remain a Northern problem. It will be our problem in the South too eventually as the jihadist and their brothers from the Sahel want full takeover of our nation to declare a Moslem nation. |

The foreign assistance would be in form of boots on the ground. We don't need any foreign assistance in fighting the terrorists |
| Re: Trump So Barbaric But Has Always Being a Blessing To Nigeria by WizardOfNG: 8:10am On Dec 26, 2025 |
givedemwotowoto:We understand you are in pain and not happy progressive action has been taken by the work force alliance between Nigeria and the USA created to tackle the terror menace of Fulanis. Since the development does not further the Presidential agenda of Obi, Atiku etal we can see why you will be here rolling on the floor shouting "Agbadorian" rather than talk on the actual event which marks the first of such against terror since our 1999 democracy began. Your sadness is because this is confirmation, again, that Tinubu is brave and willing to go there in pursuit of solutions for Nigerians and Nigeria while you and your crew have said he plays politics always and will never act. You and your fellow Obidients (haters and demarketers of Nigeria in reality) go explain tire as Nigeria makes progress by God's grace. All those who love Nigeria patritotically will simply be happy to continue praising good developments against terrorism. |

No one asked for your usual, irrelevant and ethno-religiously hateful/bitter diatribe against PBAT. Focus on the actual development and speak on that. |
