Has it gotten to the point where religion just looks shallow.

When jesus said elo elo masharabtani why have tho forsaken me i didn't know its my future self he was talking to o .

I wrote "save yoursef" on my room wall when i was younger now i know the meaning.

How can a parent say he love me then he proceed to spend 800k in church because people in area advised him that i was a disgrace the family , they put calabash at front Of our house , which i have broken and confirm till this day that ritualism is symbolic and no juju like that all na wash. I broke calabash twice and nothing happened.

Fast-forward to my problems , i dropped out of school, now this man had the audacity to plan with his wife and be hiding food from me still carry me go church say i get mental problem. See life.

He did not talk about continuing school or helping secure money for laptop which i told him about severally. He buys latest iphone for my younger brother to make me humble lol.

You're sounding like a teenager, man. Why haven’t you picked up a skill or secured a job to start saving? The goal should be moving out of your father’s house as soon as possible. Even if you just rent a single room (room self) for a start, the day you return home after a year or two of independence, the respect will be automatic. He’ll see you as a man and might even offer to support your next move. As long as you’re still eating 'mama’s food,' they’ll never see you as a responsible adult.

If you indeed dropped out of school, I'm guessing you are above 25.
You can try and raise some funds and rent your own house, unfortunately you won't be able to start big but it's OK. That's the first step, the second step is thinking about what you can do. You have to be very smart about that.

In Africa, You can't control how parents or guidian treat you.

i dropped out of school,

Since you are getting lots of sympathy from everyone else, let me help you.

You dropped out of school, so you are not learning, but you want someone to invest their money in you so you can buy laptop? Do you know you are not serious at all?

What happened to you going to learn mechanic (for instance)? Do you know that if you wake up 6am and sweep mechanic yard, your oga will at least buy you breakfast? And if you hustle well for your oga, he would even let you sleep in the cars he's fixing?

After one single year, you'd have at the very least learnt to change oil and do full service, a side hustle you can save up from to buy your own laptop.

Yes, I said harsh. When I was kicked out at 15 years old, I sold eggs for others and eventually canned coke at the Lagos end of Ibadan Expressway and saved up my money and bought ticket to return home to UK where I worked in a chicken and chips shop for £1.10 an hour to pay my way through Uni, so I hope you see why my sympathy for you who's parents hide food from in the toilet is almost non-existent.

You want laptop, lol. And no, you are not mad!

If other people are the cause of my problems, then they are the solutions to my problems, but there's no guarantee they will care so much that solving the problems they caused me would be their top priority. So I choose to own and be responsible for all problems I may have, because that way I am empowered to find my own solutions for my own problems.

Now, if the above makes sense to you, you will crucify yourself so that you can resurrect, because what you sow will not come to life unless it dies.

My apologies for Bible if it's not your inclination.

Modified. Okay I get it now. I'll try mine in a bit. Thank you plenty. Are you by any chance into coding?
