Some unexploded aerial bombs have been discovered in an area in Offa town of Offa local government area of Kwara State following explosions that ripped apart some buildings in the wee hours of Friday.

LEADERSHIP learnt that the affected buildings were located in the Yidi area of Offa, a development that has raised fears of possible United States’ drone attack among the residents.

They are trying to rubbish efforts made towards eradicating terrorism in the country. Maybe there is a Kwara State in Sokoto we dont know of.

Let’s be clear, this was not a U.S. strike. The coordinates and distances alone make such an error practically impossible. North-West Nigeria is far from Kogi State, and any professional military operation would factor that in.
What we’re likely seeing instead is a deliberate attempt at manipulation. This is most likely an ISIS or Boko Haram tactic aimed at confusing the public and shifting blame. Misinformation is one of their strongest weapons, and we must not fall for it. Critical thinking matters now more than ever.

Our biggest headache today will be social media. Government should find a way to either restrict access or limit it because people, especially uninformed people will spread more problems with their ignorance than the problem itself.

If they entered Nigeria airspace via southern Nigeria and they flew up north, it's possible something like this happened. They bomb probably detached from their fighter jet over Offa.

The Nigeria state security owes the public an explanation.

Ok. I checked West Africa map. They flew in from Ghana. They definitely avoided Burkina Faso and Niger airspace. Flew over Ghana, Togo, Benin into Nigeria. There is a chance they entered via South West or North Central. SW and Sokoto are along the same route.

The DHQ need to give an explanation very fast.
