but nobody is even chasing away fulani-herdsmen, instead they are the ones killing Nigerians and chasing away indigenous people of Nigeria into IDP camps. if indeed gunmi wants to be a peace maker as he claimed, why can't he talk to his people to stop killing and dehumanizing Nigerians ? then everybody in Nigeria will start living in peace just like the good old days. No sane human will embrace his potential killers ! |

Nchoje34:It's unfortunate that I found myself in the same country with the likes of Gumi. Nigeria would have been a better country to live without the pissful religion. All bandits, iswap, issis, boko haram, lakuruwa members are Muslims but not all Muslims are bandits, iswap issis boko haram lakuruwa members bcoz my mother is a Muslim, my uncles and aunts, cousins, colleagues in the office and some Muslim friends are peaceful and peace loving people. |

https://m.youtube.com/watchv=qM2z4bh69mE In this heated viral clip from December 2025, prominent Islamic cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi delivers a bold message amid Nigeria's ongoing insecurity crisis: “Herdsmen are going nowhere. They are part of us, and we are part of them. We must learn to live together and should never become enemies with them.” The statement has ignited massive debate across Nigeria, with critics accusing Gumi of sympathizing with armed groups linked to banditry, while supporters see it as a call for dialogue over violence.[/quote] |

Kingsley34:Oga rest , they are going somewhere. Nigeria is not your father's land. We never knew fulanis as a tribe here , you people crept into our country and wants to hijack it. You will go somewhere soon , it's a matter of time. You can't ask them to hide in the bushes and forest and come out only to perpetrate evil and havock and return there for cover. Where were they at Independence, anyone in the bushes will be rooted out one after the other. |

If as he said that they are our neighbors and we are not enemies then however they never saw us (other regions) as their neighbors, they've always lived seperated nomadic lifestyles not adapting or conforming to our set rules and would rather want to force their ways to the majority when they are a minority, they never want to follow diplomatic approach in airing they request and would prefer to war and dominate wherever they need to settle. This man is just trying to make his nonesense make sense but in every word he utters he exposes his cover. Someone detain this man and question him Biko. |

He is simply fighting for his people. He is no different from Asari Dokubo or Tompolo fighting for their people. He is seeking justice. To him, nomadic herding of cattle is the lifeblood of his people. Nomadic herding of cattle is no longer practical in Nigeria and should be banned. That is my 100% view and they don't seem to realize it is no longer practical and that's why there always skirmishes with farmers. However, there should be a holistic plan to assist the herdsmen asapt. If there's a need, train many in new skills or trade. Provide them sapital to stand on their own. Seek a win/win solution. |
