They don't understand Igbo culture.... In Igbo land we don't settle people in closet... The issue is my Yoruba people have this morbid dear for everything to the extent that they don't even go to their own village! They fear their own village and scared of people from their community and that is why many of them claim Lagos and are buried In Lagos...

Unlike other tribes that travel to their villages ! So this would be surprising for them

Both systems have strengths and reflect different cultural approaches to learning skills and building economic independence.But Igbo apprenticeship brings more successful people cos they don't need to start looking for seed capital and also not looking for freedom money and party money after learning the trade

The master can only be paying you if you are a journey man that has mastered the trade and can actually contribute to money making. That is the Yoruba system. The Igbo system is not really apprenticeship but serving your master. You are a sales person or manager for a number of years and then you are settled.

Yoruba will tax the poor lad when he wants to learn the work and also tax the poor lad when he is done with the work calling it freedom money

In Igbo land they don't tax anyone...all you have to do is sign an agreement that you will learn the work for a period of time, when you are done , your master orays for you and also help in setting you up ...at no cost on you! That's Igbo system. That's humane

Expertise is needed but it's not the most important... The most important is cash.
Expertise can only take you as far as the cash you have...
But cash can get you expertise any day any time.
