In black Africa there are no horizonal relationships, only vertical. This is the source of the feudalism we have so prevalent today and our failure to grow real great leaders, leaders Nigerians can look back in a generation and say that person sacrificed all to make for this and that.

The average Nigerian cannot relate horizontally with his fellow man, cannot emphatize with him, cannot see to his survival and progress.
