if you say agbara I will understand, but you see that okoko it's a no go area for rent, a room self contain goes for as much as 800-1.2m a room and parlor is from 1.3-1.8m 2bedroom is from 1.8m to 2.5m+

What about food sellers and transportation company that increase price anyhow even as price of fuel come down yet price are high

Lol. I stay on the island and it’s 2M per year the mini flat. And it’s around Ajah ooo. In Lekki it’s within 3M to 5M.

Even on the mainland it’s quite on the high side. Except those Iyana Paja or outskirts of Lagos into Ogun State!

When he/she us ready to build, when they tell him how much a plot of land will cost, cement, iron rod, wiring , roof , prepaid meter, and borehole partitioning fence gate. That when u see them thinking of patronizing all these real estate scammers because the cost has now dawn on them.

Is it by force to stay in Lagos? Go back to your villages, towns, states and regions. The governors in the SW will not tolerate people sleeping in the streets. They will be taken back to their states of origin. A word is enough the wise.

Do you believe from first quarter of last year to the last quarter of this year,empty lands in some places in Lagos are now a little over 100%. After construction for rentals, their is no way in the world to have ROI in 10 years

Common sense is not common. Increase your rent but with a reasonable amount. You keep blaming government for their inept attitude but you want to suffocate your fellow human with arbitrary rent increase.

Hahaha. The issue here is not the increment as per day, but the rate and percentage at which the rentage is being increased. It's absurd for a landlord to be increasing his rent every year at over 50 to 100 percent.

Go and sit down somewhere. You think everyone is like you. Some landlords are still reasonable and understanding. How much was added to salary or businesses that you want collect an arbitrary rent. Fear God and be human please. Let the poor breathe

That theory or philosophy rendered my corper friend homeless in Lagos today. Now he is regretting. That statement doesn't follow in current lagos economy for youths, except you want to live in thousands of mile away from your workplace, or find a job with accommodation. Those who are living in Lagos understands what I'm saying.

Brother and sister in Lagos, find a house and forget about this philosophy.

The common sense is as rent increases never accept jobs with peanut salary. If you want to collect low salary, then such a job must come with accommodation and feeding. That is the current trend among youths in Lagos today. Immediately you post any job on the Island (Lekki, Ajah, Ibeju-Lekki), those applying would ask: "Does it have accommodation and feeding?"
