Wrong. Cruise Missile and Ballistic missiles are both high precision capability, but they have diferent use case due to their profiles.
Cruise missiles are slower, but they compensate for their speed with their low observability and low altitude flight, i.e., they cannot be easiliy detected on Air defense radar, and they also carry smaller warheads.
Ballistic missiles on the other hand are faster and they reach in0credibile speeds, and they follow a ballistic flight path, flying higher. Some even go as high as going into space before making a reentry back into earth at increadible speeds. They are used for further distance targets and carry larger war heads, Some of the can even be used to carry Nuclear warheads.

Absolutely incorrect

The solid fuel boosters are jettisoned approximately 1% of the flight path, which is almost immediately. Cruise missiles carry enough fuel for long range missions.

There's no way they jettisoned anything around Kwara on the way to Sokoto.
