I have been on solar for more than 10 years and have been 99% dependent on solar for more than 4 years, yet my people have never learnt to conserve energy. 5KVa inverter will carry all my load but I got 7.5Kva becuase my people will turn on Kettle, Microwave and Toaster at the same time even when Water Heater is running in the morning.

With a fridge and freezer, TV, light, fan and phone charging, 10KWh consumption per family per day will be conservative. People tend to underestimate their power need when planning solar installation. Your power use will grow with solar or with constant NEPA.
why not get a separate system whose inverter capacity is just enough to carry a few load. Anytime dey load it to some extent, it should trip off

Most high voltage ups still uses lead batteries.

Not just ups, some inverters too.

Besides, I still wonder why there are no 96v lithium battery available in the market.

I just believe this 48v idea, some how increases the market sales volume

Demand and supply obviously reason 96v isn't so much in use. Such voltage ain't for most of us especially since you also need specialized equipments.

As for UPS, thought team everywhere Lithium would have preached about using lithium instead.

It is something I have thought about, but running two parallel systems is inefficient and requires some changes in house wiring. I'm not going to do that to safe a few KWh.

Yes, there are drop in replacement lithium batteries on Amazon, never seen one locally. I know because I once considered something like that. The other thing you may need to worry about is charging profile, but I think it should be fine if you can find the battery.

One of those weird cases where I don't know what chemistry would serve you best. Best bet is probably two li-ion cells, though I'm not sure the charging profiles would even match.

If you have a old laptop battery, dismantle it, just cut 2 or 4 batteries and connect. But dont try it if dont have DIY skills

This battery was replaced before now and it's not lasting well.

So I will maybe if changed to lithium, it will be better.
Just concerned about the charging profile too.

I will wait for others input.

buy cells from the likes of Valto, or extract from laptop batteries; and couple yourself. Nothing fancy. As for charging system, get any super cheap charger compatible with lithium batteries. Should cost less than 15,000 naira.

Assuming that battery is 12v, would have been a lot cheaper.

Another thing you could do is - if already using Solar at your home, just get stepdown circuit to tap 12v to approximately 7v and use it directly with the fan, and forget about ever recharging the battery since that's taken care of already at source

It's available on Jumia. Search li-ion by voltage and ah you should see one.

Just checked Jumia, not available anymore. Helped someone order 4 cells pack last month for a rechargeable fan.

Please engr in the house we have this new batteries we bought from China 200ah, 60V (3.2v*20cells) lifepo4 littium battery but problem it's too heavy for our e-vehicle , we need 100ah V60v half the weight, since the battery cannot be split.. I don't know if you any one is interested in doing battery swapping

You will take our 200ah V60 and 100ah V60...
the are new grade A batteries never used before you can scan there code

You can chat my on +23 4 8094994506

if you already a Solar user, you really not bother much about such fan as any DC fan should work. You just tap current from your battery (1 battery if using leadAcid or 12v Lithium battery) and if using Lithium battery exceeding 12v, there should be a way to get 12v out of it without causing imbalance.

Good day guys, what's the best Budget friendly 1.5-2kva 12v hybrid inverter in the market right now and is there another battery brand that outperform the 1.3kw cworth 12v battery and that is around the same price bracket (177k)
