Gradually every state is preparing for state police.

State policing is the way forward but the fear of it being used by governors as a political power against the opposition is my greatest fear.
For long, governor using the State Police for political gain or against the opposition has been the greatest fear of the people but insecurity covering the whole country is not their greatest fear,What an irony!, and most of these people dislike the State Police are not even politicians. Don't let them use us against the state police because of their personal agenda. Most of these politicians have security to protect them against insecurity but the ordinary Nigerians without private security become afraid and ready to fight for politicians on what should be their personal issue.

North and south Nigeria can no longer live in harmony and it's clear to see. It's time we all have a referendum to split Nigeria into 5 or 6 countries. We would agree to share the oil revenue for the next 15 years as we have been together for 60 plus years. The 15 years will allow the individual countries to build the necessary infrastructure etc, it needs to survive. Also the south south will get the lion share of the oil revenue, but after the 15 years elapse, no more oil sharing . Each country should finally now rely on their national resources and human capital etc. This will foster competition and development and it's the way to go as no one will feel left out or marginalised. God bless

.
Share pool revenue for the next 15 years. Where this this ever happened before?

No need to share oyel money for 15 years. Let's break the useless union. It is like a rapist calling his acts towards a victim non negotiable show of love. Even if there is resistance in form of a war, think of it, war is expensive, who will fund it from the northern part? Is it their billionaires like Dangote & BUA? Or they will suddenly tax their poor? Or turn to Iran thats almost starving economically?

I had expected that something like this would have been established by Borno and Sokoto/Kebbi states that have been the hotbed of banditry and terrorism but up till now, I doubt if they are even thinking in that direction at all!
Same thing is happening currently in Sokoto state.

Those ones are even armed with AK 47.

Hisbah is more useful in the forests chasing bandits.

In this Kano state we are talking about Hisbah has been in existence for upwards of two decades over several governments. In the south west done states have had Amotekun for long.

Though not real police, these outfits have been the closest thing to organized policing.

How many times have they been used for political ends. Where does this scaremongering come from.

And the fact is that if state policing were to be adopted as national policy through a Constitutional Amendment, much more robust safeguards are bound on be created to protect the public from abuse instead of this case where it is the states themselves that in initiate the reforms and structure the institutions.

It can work in Kano cos the FG won't inhibit them from self defence, unlike the east and middle belt

Well done, Yusuf

Under Sharia law blasphemy is punished by death. It doesn't matter if the person is a Muslim or not, it doesn't even matter wether the allegation is proven or not. Once any muslim accuses someone of blasphemy boom the person is killed in cold blood.

Remember the case of Deborah Samuel? She was accused of blasphemy on a whatsApp group about class postings, she was stoned to death and her body set on fire by a mob of students...34 muslim lawyers offered to represent her killers in court for free including a professor.

Gideon Akaluka, a young Igbo trader who was dragged him out of a police cell where he was being detained and beheaded over accusations that his wife had desecrated the Qur’an.

Christiana Oluwatoyin Oluwasesin, a Christian teacher accused of desecrating the Qur’an.
She was beaten, stoned and killed by her students.

Mrs. Bridget Agbahime, was a trader in Kano’s Wambai market. She was beheaded by a mob after she told a Muslim not to perform ablution in front of her shop

I can go on and on....All these people and many others lost their lives to Sharia blasphemy law

Oh!

This is quite interesting. Let all hands be on deck so that this war will be won and they would know that the north is not a haven for their criminal activities.

Next is sth should be done to their sponsors and sympathizers.
