Better to be a small country of 6 million people like Singapore that has a larger GDP than Nigeria

Its about quality of life, not population

When was our last census conducted? I'm sure this Nigerian stats is based on estimation and approximations.
Nigeria inhabit up to 300M citizens if you check well.

NIN is around 120 million. BVN is around sixty million or so

That GDP is because of high cost of living. There is nothing Singapore has more than Nigeria but when your per Capita income is more than 100k dollars then your GDP will be large but the size is fake. In Nigeria today a GDP per Capita of 3k dollars will mean the country is doing very well because that will be 15k dollars a year for the average family of five and that is enough in Nigeria

Nigeria's population figure up there does not reflects it current status. It is approximately 310M @ present.
