Damola, are you already pivoting from Ribadu and Shettima to Kwankwaso? Once upon a time during the 2023 elecions, it was Elrufai. Where is Ganduje today? How many people are you all going to promise the ticket to? You all think you haven't been clocked yet right?
They will all fight for the ticket and one of them will pick it. They are all interested so there is no point why they should not join APC to fight for it.

If you don’t join the party, someone else will get and chop the billions of naira campaign funds dedicated to your state for campaign. Why not you?

North and south Nigeria can no longer live in harmony and it's clear to see. It's time we all have a referendum to split Nigeria into 5 or 6 countries. We would agree to share the oil revenue for the next 15 years because we have been together for 60 plus years. The 15 years will allow the individual countries enough time to build the necessary infrastructures it needs to survive, like major roads, ports, power stations, international airports, new smart well planned capital cities, etc. Also the south south will get the lion share of the split oil revenue, but after the 15 years elapses, no more oil sharing . Each country should finally now rely on their national resources and human capital etc. This will foster competition and development and it's the way to go as no one will feel left out or marginalised. We should share the same independence day of 1st Oct for the individual countries. Everyone would be happy. Let's do this, God bless 🙏🏼

See how you guys always read the room incorrectly? Just because he spoke his mind doesn't mean that he's dumb, and he can't feel the wind of politics blowing across the plain. He knows that his best chance of becoming president is via the APC. Come 2031, he will have an opportunity to contest under APC for the post.

While emotions consume you, Kwankwaso uses his brain properly.

You keep letting your emotions get the best of you while we move forward.

But there is something baffling about the so called Jagaban that people have not tried to reason out or acknowledge.

How can someone that almost had no party to contest from in 2023 where his party chairman, the president, the CBN governor, the INEC, the national assembly, the whole opposition was against him?

To make matters worse for himself, he dared to go for muslim/muslim ticket which nobody ever tried and pulled off in the history of this country (Abiola didn't make it).

He didn't stop at that, he went on national (and international) TV to castigate a sitting president (who wields enormous power) just days before election. In fact, the President had to break the law on election day showing his vote to the whole world to see that he voted APC pledging his loyalty to the man that told the whole world that "And he cried, and I told him come, don't worry, I will make you president" what the f..c.k?

Fast forward by 2 years, he is the President despite all the attacks of Reno, Seyi, Rufai, Hundeyin, Showore, etc. Not only that, most of those people are now rolling at his feet.

From almost having no party to now turning all opposition to "On your mandate we shall stand" almost turning Nigeria to a one party state.

2027 (barring death) is just a formality this time cementing his record has never to have lost any election he contested for. Another startling record.

Is this guy really a demi-god of politics? Note that till date nobody can say for sure where this guy actually came out from, all is speculations.

The Kano state governor has been doing well in his first term.

Joining APC is just a formality as he is already part of the party.

Good move.
Has he been doing well in the same way that Sanwo-Ole and his three predecessors in Tinubu's Lagos TAX monster plan have been doing well since 1999?

Doing well by impoverishing people with ever increasing TAX burden while failing to employ workers to make government services and public utilities like water available for everyone. Is that how public servants do well in your progreThief mindset huh

The eyesore on Bourdillon Road
2nd January 2025

Beyond his neighbours, there is something about the sight of people hanging around a president’s residence that does not speak well of his leadership capabilities. Maybe no one has nudged him to see it, but the impression that spectacle on Bourdillon Road generates is that Tinubu enjoys the sight of suffering humans and thrives in—and through— their poverty.

If all these years, impoverished people hang around you and you remain comfortable enough to keep them just so they can be handed tokens of your large heart, then it means you have a pro-poverty mindset. Such a frame of mind is oriented toward cultivating poverty rather than stimulating abundance.

That is why he could unproblematically relate the story of his “friend” who went from using five Rolls Royce to a far-less valued car and not consider the import of the nonsense he was saying. That spurious account was an indication that this is a man for whom poverty—of others, not himself—is an ideal.

PREMIUM TIMES had reported how Nigeria recorded a new low in voter turnout during the last general elections. With a national turnout of 29 per cent, a Premium Times analysis showed that the last election had the lowest participation rate in the country’s six decades of independence.

It further revealed that of the 93.4 million registered voters this year, 87.2 million people collected their Permanent Voters Card and the total number of actual voters on election day was only 24.9 million..The winner of the election, Bola Tinubu, had less than nine million votes, roughly 10 per cent of the total eligible voters.

How about the $84 billion subsidy savings that has made petrol unaffordable and life unbearable for Nigerians?

If you have not seen the impact of the subsidy savings, is it not obvious that is what is been shared with politicians to join Oshiomole's Assembly of Past Criminals, APC huh

Petrol should never cost more than N70 per litre, says APC

January 19, 2015

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as mere tokenism the reduction of petrol price from N97 to N87 per litre, saying the petroleum product ordinarily should sell for N70.

On Sunday, the federal government announced the reduction of petrol price, citing the fall of global crude oil price.

But the APC through Lai Mohammed, its spokesman, on Monday accused the government of making a show out of deceit, saying “a 10.3 per cent slash in the price of petrol was a mere tokenism at a time the price of crude oil has crashed by about 60 per cent”.

It argued that the pump price of a litre of petrol should not be more than 70 Naira, alleging that at N87 per litre, the government was forcing Nigerians to subsidise the massive corruption in the oil sector by N17 for every litre of fuel.

Buhari’ll reduce petrol to N40/L —David-West

FORMER Minister of Petroleum and Energy, Prof. Tamunoemi David-West, said that Nigerians should expect sharp drop in petrol price from the current N87 to about N40 per litre, saying, “the president-elect, Gen. Mohammed Buhari, will reduce the fuel pump price to N40 per litre.”

Governors joining APC actually makes a lot of political sense to the governor's . It gives them political protection from string opposition in their states . APC rule is that the governor is the optical head of APC in all states . I'd joining APC will make me the leader of a federal ruling party in my state and guarantee me political protection , federal assistance in funds and legal support , then it makes sense . Better to be ihe ruling party than to have the ruling party in my state have someone else with all federal might behind hi opposing me

u don't know how Tinubu cracked some permutations in which most governors/political class are leveraging on sir.i believe that's the reason even unexpected governors like that of Enugu will join APC . They have more money to spend now even though we the civil servants and other Nigerians aren't enjoying most of those Tinubu policies.PDP division isn't helping matters too.
The only way out to give Tinubu a fight for that second tenure is for Obi to team up with Atiku in ADC.
