Omo ehh, turning off your inverter for few minutes does a lot of wonders oh. It improves the mppt performance, clears some error codes and reduces fan noise. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by dollarnaira(m): 8:30am On Dec 29, 2025 |
fuckboys:Also, when last did u dust all fans? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by fuckboys: 10:20am On Dec 29, 2025 |
dollarnaira:I've never done that, I juts tuned off my inverter for 5mins today and back on since after installation March this year. That's 9months working round the clock. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by dollarnaira(m): 10:27am On Dec 29, 2025 |
fuckboys:Try peep into your fan bro. It is an important part that should not be neglected. Dust on fan blades affect cooling-- your inverter fan and all regular fans especially this dusty time. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by fuckboys: 10:34am On Dec 29, 2025 |
dollarnaira:okay I’ll take a look, I’d have to turn it off again for that. Thanks chief. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by justasitis: 4:38pm On Dec 29, 2025 |
fuckboys:It’s important to dust the air vents , clean the dust filters and fan blades once in 3 months for better performance and efficiency of your hybrid inverter. |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 10:27am On Dec 30, 2025 |
Deluxe8000:A lot of times, especially in your situation, your charge controller dictates the limits which is often about maximum of 800w for solar panel. Anything more than that, at same voltage, your charge cotnroller either clips off the excesses (in form of heat) or experiences stress that either shortens it's usable life or causes immediate damage. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by HeavenlyBang(m): 10:44am On Dec 30, 2025 |
Deluxe8000:Poorly designed system. Could've just gone 24v and saved yourself a ton of money and stress. You have a max of 100a worth of charging. Effectively about 1350w at most, and that means you're running your controllers at max capacity all the time. What I would do, really, is connect those batteries in series, then buy a 24v inverter. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by HawkTuahGirl: 11:07am On Dec 30, 2025 |
bassdow:You are right. From a user point of view, I will charge the batteries separately, connect one to Jinko 715W panel - 60a mppt and the second to Jinko 520W panel - 40a mppt. I will use a charge over to use 1 battery (with 60a) during the day and another (with 40a) during the night. |

HeavenlyBang:isn't it funny when you guys support certain things, then turn around and make comments such as above. ReCall it was one of your comments or so that I said something that was immediately spoken against. Me kukuma just keep mute. If una like, make una run 3.2v system come use inverter boost am to 240v e no concern me. We need understand when we share certain unCommon information which doesn't apply to , chances of it being abused exists. Certain information ought to be used by professionals on sight based on project requirements. |

HawkTuahGirl:Are you @Deluxe8000 ![]() |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by fuckboys: 11:12am On Dec 30, 2025 |
Deluxe8000:hmmm, charging this huge battery on 12v? That's a lot of heat o. Best is series those batteries and run a 24v system. 4pcs of 450w panels is okay. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 11:13am On Dec 30, 2025 |
HawkTuahGirl:you really don't need the 2 charge cotnorllers, the 60amps is more than enough for both batteries. If you must use a changeOver, then let it to switch the batteries, not controllers |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Gshems: 11:18am On Dec 30, 2025 |
I have a 12v 100ah joykoo lifepo4 for sale. Used for 1 month |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by HeavenlyBang(m): 11:38am On Dec 30, 2025 |
bassdow:There are perfectly fine 12v systems that would meet the demands of most people. That has nothing to do with the fact this his system in particular was poorly designed, I'm not sure I get your point really. Obviously when you're getting into higher wattages, it makes no sense to use 12v. Both points aren't mutually exclusive. |
