To win the presidential election in Nigeria, you have to win one of these states, just one minimum. Kogi, Kwara or Niger. This has been true for all presidential elections held in Nigeria. Obi did not win any of them in 2023, he came a distant third. And come 2027, he will never win a single one of these 3 states. This is the simple fact of the matter. His supporters can cry later.

Obi recognizes power rotation between north and south. That's why he agreed to be Atiku's running mate in 2019 and not in 2023. He won't still be Atiku's running mate in 2027.

Secondly, majority of Obi's supporters recognize this power rotation too.

Therefore, anyone that thinks Atiku will automatically inherit Obi's supporters if Obi becomes his running mate in 2027 is on a high delusion.

Conclusion: Obi will not become running mate to anyone again.
Even if obi decides to be running mate to atiku so what? Didn't APC do such against GEJ? Why are they now crying?

Your got it all wrong. He is not paranoid about him. Far from it. He knows Obi too well as an unstable, unreliable political novive who cannot be trusted judging from his antecedents from his APGA days.

If Atiku does not pose any threat to Tinubu, is it Obi who has since lost a great deal of relevance that will ?
Already, PO has lost tremendous support from three factors so far.

1. The sympathy votes he got from the Yorubas who disliked Tinubu pre-2023 elections but who have turned their love back to Tinubu and hatred for Obi thanks to the latter's supporters' brash and uncouth behaviour after the elections
As a matter of fact, judging from the under-current mood in yorubaland, it may be suicidal for certain voters to venture out to vote in 2027.

2. Obi has also lost virtually all the sympathy votes he got from a large Christian audience and moderate Muslims across the SW, SS, NV NE and some NW areas in protest against the muslim-muslim ticket.

3
Almost all of his major non-Ibo die-hard supporters who risked their lives and livelihoods for Obi in 2023 have since deserted him having seen through his shenanigans, ethnic sentiments, lack of leadership skills and autocratic tendencies.
The finishing part; deputising Atiku whom his supporters saw has the Spoiler in 2023 election.

He has lost his igbo support. Why don't u try finding out by coming to any SE states. Go to any market and just use mic and say obi is a fool.If you go back with your legs know I am not an igbo man.Do you even know the road to SE.ol
You sit in village in SW eating amala and ewedu and be caping rubbish.
All we know nothing must happen to obi before elections. We know since the announcement SW president and his people are so confused and are ready to attack igbos and thr properties

But Can Obi accept to be VP to Atiku in 2027 when it shd be the turn of the South to complete 8 years? No nau

He shd have rather been his running mate in 2023 if he has been able to extract a signed agreement that Atiku will be President for just one term. Unfortunately no Nigerian wants to do one term, everyone wants to die in power as long as they do 2nd term.

In conclusion, as much as I detest this APC government, I can't support a Northern candidate at this time. Let Tilumbu do his own and go in 2031. But my instinct tells me that if Tilumbu wins in 2027 (which I know he will win), Nigeria might be restructured. And the North won't do pim. I can sense it. So if Obi is not standing as President, let him forget it, rather being VP to people that will see him as a threat of he wins. Besides, these old generations have nothing to offer this country again.

Look at what a whole supposed minister is writing about a fellow human being. These people are so low. Even me that haven't attained that political height can't write that about anybody.

Anyways, the fear of Obi is their greatest nightmare, so anything to express their frustration is allowed.

A new approach using very strong chemicals will kill off the vermin.

Werey people u are no longer celebrating all governor moving to apc.it means obi alone is more than all the governors that have decamped to apc. When we told u people obi is part of the coalition. You whr all fooling yourself that he is Tinubu Labour party. He is very smart and has been playing along while u whr preparing to rig believing it will be easy with divide votes like 2023 and waiting to say go to corrupt judiciary. The way we will defend our vote at polling units to inec head quarters go shock u all.And don't forget trump is already on Tinubu case now

What a people!
Not that you deserve a response but neither me nor any Igbo I know sees Yoruba as enemy but if Tinubu and his tiny gang of incompetent, bumbling nepotistic power grabbers equate to Yoruba, so be it.

you gave a very intelligent answer, they want to provoke a senseless tribal fight to pave way for them to continue their useless, rudderless regime, they are afraid, this is the only weapon they have tribalism, as if it is not all the tribe that is collecting wotowoto from their incompetent government
