This title is misleading.

I’ve been telling people this since yesterday…i ply that road every week and it’s one of the smoothest road in this country…from Berger to sagamu no reach 30 minutes

Tor I was trying to check again to see where he actually mock Joshua.
I was in that route last month traveling back to kogi state from Lag.the road make sense.most of our drivers are so reckless when on the high way. Most of them overtake anyhow and also do not obey traffic rules.may God Almighty console their love ones.

The driver killed those guys as a result of his reckless and insensitive driving. Nothing is wrong with that road...

I hardly can sleep when on the highway because of the way our drivers speed.
I was traveling to kaduna from Kebbi three years ago and I happened to be in the front seat with the driver. The guy man was just receiving fone calls anyhow and also over speeding.the height of it all was when he wanted recharging his airtime I think and the car almost went off the road.
Close to kaduna , he recklessly climbed a pot hole and the tyre scattered.na God save us that day.

Please, in situations like this, DO NOT KEEP QUIET. CAUTION HIM. Once I observe the calls, say after like 2 call, I start cautioning and scolding.

I watched the accident scene videos, I just dey vex . The truck was not parked on the road, the impact made the car stop by the middle kerb. The speed was crazy, that driver was going not less than 160KM/HR

If Anthony's driver is not one of the deceased he should be prosecuted for dangerous driving.

A lot of Nigerians don't know it's very risky to speed in SUV due to it's centre of gravity.
If any issue like entering pothole, tyre burst, etc occurs the vehicle will likely lose control.
Another aspect is over speeding, I have noticed that those who drive nice cars are always speeding. Its not a must to prove any point.
The only cars that are built for speed/balance which are common are specialized Mercedes Benz, BMW and some few others.

I ply that road around same thing yesterday.
I witnessed the aftermath of the accident because it caused traffic on that route.
I never saw the bodies nor the injured but I can say the car was completely torn off on the passenger side of the car. It’s the first time I’d see a full passenger side all gone and the car roof opened like a tin can of tomato paste.

I blame this on the driver cause that is what it is.
Those escort drivers, including their pilot vehicle and the entourage, drives dangerously, their manoeuvres are reckless and they barely consider other road users safety.

Everyone used to that road knows how dangerously smooth that road is from BERGER TO IWO ROAD.

Exactly! You know he tried to overtake from the right at that high speed which will necessarily mean he had already exposed the full face of the vehicle to get a view. Anthony Joshua should thank his God cos he should have been dead too if not a last minute swerve but could not save the full face of the vehicle.. Seeing that both men on the right side of the vehicle died. Very reckless driving and the driver ought to be charged.

In Nigeria, once you can change gear and have little cash, your driving license is set.

In developed countries, you don't get driving license until you've passed theoretical and practical driving tests.

In Nigeria, the concept of fast lane and road shoulders is alien to seasoned drivers.

Lots of senseless people on the road.

I don't know the details but I'm sure road safety illiteracy is the cause of the accident.

The driver might have been British based. You drive on the left we dive on right. That could explain the wrongful overtaking.

Or the accident cause. At least I haven't seen anyone do. But it was confirmed that AJs car hit a stationary trailer or truck. Which is indicating on frsc or whichever authority's responsibility it is to impound or clear the highway.


Also I learned on of AJs team was driving which begs the question of how a got a driver's license to drive in Nigeria.

The whole thing leaves a lot of questions unanswered!

If it's truly 140km/hr the driver is to be blamed but the deed had been done.even 120KM/HR on Nigeria road is dangerous

It was simply down to reckless drowing.

What was worse was that this is a man who has lives in England. He should have warned the person driving to be more cautious.

I am not saying the British are angels when no one is watching but he should have been more cautious speeding.

People overlook the state of mental development of service providers

Do you know when the truck got there, do you know when it got bad, do you know how long it was parked there, do you know if a tow truck has been called, do you know if was just a punctures tyre they were making plans to replace without need for a tow truck.

The root cause of this incident is bad decision making from the late driver and the insurance company of the SUV need to compensate that truck owner.

The report from FRSC already said the cause of the accident was due to tire burst that made the driver loose control. I wonder why it is very difficult for some people to just comprehend simple English sometimes.
You guys should allow the dead rest in peace. Meanwhile the person didn't mock AJ which points to how insensitive some bloggers or posters can be.

I passed the same road on Monday and I was wondering where those people got their narratives from.from better to the interchange that I passed ,there is no single bump,I repeat no single bump
