Most of the developed world you worship and have become a slave to aren't on the list but you ignored it and insult the country as usual and typical of you people. One thing I am sure of is that no matter the insult and demarketing you people give to this nation, the people that will prosper and excel in it will definitely do so. Nigeria cannot have a growing GDP unless we transition from an economy based on sharing money to an economy based on manufactured goods and services. The leading countries on that list were war ravaged countries. But now, they have been able to attract some trust and stability to their system. Even Zimbabwe and Benin republic are now growing well marginally. But here in Nigeria, the only thing our leadership know how to do is to steal funds, or kill industries with inflation, high running costs and tax, tax, tax. 6 Likes |

Hezzyluv:Yeah because from 2009-14, we had very high oil prices, the revenue of which buffered the economy. Oil was above 90 dollars consistently from 2009 to 2015. The thing is, we needed to have diversifed the economy to sustain it. Which is what APC should have done when they took over. Improve tax to gdp, stop corruption, remove subsides, save money, end the stealing of our resources, and enforce laws against stealing of electric power. They didn't do that, and tinubu has kept our economy on oil (and his tax reform is because no one would lend us money anymore, not because they need to do it) Saying the above means I am an APC supporter. Debroslink:USA pays on average...260-564 naira per kwh. Nigeria, apart from band A , pays between 100-160 naira per kwh, band A pays 220-30 naira per kwh. Band A consumers form about 20% of total consumers. Nigeria also has things like 60% of people bypassing meters, 40% of people not paying at all, many people underpaying because they pay subsidised rates, and a president that does not pay the light bills for aso rock villa.
