Going into a burning building.... an inferno.... twice .... to save goods? I guess every man knows how much his life is worth.

Building approval and monitoring authorities most especially in Lagos need to be overhauled . Most likely there was no safety measure nor fire management and prevention measures in place , no emergency exit doors , nothing

During fire drill in our organisation, we were told that whenever fire alarm sounds, get up, leave everything and take the nearest exit and flee.
not to talk of when u see fire burning physically, even if my soul is inside the building, i will never go in to retrieve it.

The most sad thing about him was that he was already out safe but still went back.

That's quite tragic and unfortunate. If the goods have been insured, perhaps he wouldn't be bothered to scramble to salvage the goods as the inferno engulfed the building.

And how many insurance companies would be ready to pay?

Even here in America, the Altadena fire incident that happened almost a year now , the owners of the properties are not getting answered. Help is just coming from charity to either rebuild their homes or get an apartment. Insurance refused to pay the worth of those properties.

I hope he does not have a family in China.

A duplex is a two storey structure and not a single storey structure. A single storey structure is a bungalow. This error has been consistent amongst many Nigerians.

I just wonder why people will use high to store goods?

One out of just two casualties . I don't know if it's him or the other casualty that was sending voicenotes to loved ones that he's still trapped in the fire and it's not looking like he'll make it out alive. What a horrible horrible way to die, may their souls rest in peace

i heard casualties are much ooo
