Let me give you some privy information. The reason why kwankwaso has not defected to APC since last year was because his demands were not met. He demanded for 5 slot of ministers, 3 ambassadors, and some amount (i won't mention the amount here) to settle his followers and also demandedfor VP slot to run with Tinubu. He also demanded that Ganduje must resign as chairman of APC because he said, he cant be under Ganduje. Do you remember how hurriedly Ganduje was removed? Because the president became agitated that kwankwaso was going to get a deal with Goodluck Jonathan but Tinubu won't have Jonathan running against him, because Jonathan is his biggest threat. Kwankwaso was outsmarted by the likes of Chief of Staff to the presidency and I won't say much on this also. AMINDA: |

DMCY:As far as Kano state is concerned, don't write off kwankwaso, as his political history calls for caution. He is presently the biggest politician in Kano even if abba gods gida decamps. My only problem with him is his penchant for political horse trading. |

TimeMachine2:You did not reveal any new information that is not already known. When we say Tinubu is paying good money to get the governors to decamp, some of the ill-informed Batists tend to argue. In any case, Tinubu has proven that he's willing to throw his most faithful ally under the bus to get what he wants and he will do the same to Kwankwaso if the opportunity presents itself. Kwankwaso will not decamp without the assurances of clinching the V.P spot. Tinubu and his chief of staff going behind his back to cut a deal with Abba will yield no result aside from quashing Abba's opposition in Barau and Ganduje's (Gawuna) camp. This will only infuriate Ganduje and Barau, further weakening the APC especially in the presidential elections. In the end, Tinubu will shift ground by ditching Shettima which will be the final nail in the coffin. Tinubu's fate is inevitable. |
