Please I am currently in need of the service mind / brain doctor. Please if you are an expert or knows about they field, don’t hesitate to drop your advice. Currently, I have a friend, co-worker who has suffered from “low self esteem “ in the past. I do hear “low self esteem “ , this type is very crazy. This person is someone that hardly leave the house, this is someone that can get sick if she moves out for outing. She can put her phone on flight mode just to avoid a scheduled outing. But if she’s accustomed to you, she can deprive herself of what she needs just to satisfy you, even if she needs it more. She can spend the whole day chatting with you, and you alone, if your communications is smooth. She’s someone that can overwork herself in doing house chores , only for her to be eventually complaining of body pain, joint pain. A scenario happened few days ago, where she was complaining to me about body pain due to so much stressful day. Then I tried to advise her that “she should be limiting how she does house chores, so as to avoid complaining always. I made it known that it’s not a must you finish all chores in a single day. Then I said something that “ she should try to be managing stress by not complaining of body pain after each chores, I said that if she’s married, and lot of house chores is available to do, and if that makes her to complain of other task given in her work place, Colleagues might think she’s lazy, not healthy enough, “ That’s my only advice, and ever since then, she has change the tone of her communication towards me. She said “she’s the one that is to be blamed for dishing out how stressful her day went”. And I told her, it’s an advice that will even help her to manage stress, but she still feel insulted/offended. So, Mind/Brain Expert, how do I manage such fellow, she has complained a chronic low self esteem syndrome in the past. And due to my findings, individual with that cope by “setting boundaries “ So, I think she’s trying to set boundaries with me which is detrimental to her health. |

She is not ready to change herself, why do you want to? Leave her to ride through her emotion of disappointment. She'll be back to herself in no time. Tohsynetita1: |
