What about if you calculate the transport to and fro from the village you went to! It will be the same as going inside town. Just asking though. I Might be wrong.

You don't want to make groundnut soup! Maybe you prefer dem fried for snacking.

Cool.

Food price inflation don really come down..

This timeast year, most things na like times 2 or 3 of what we are buying them this year.

Na the transport fare remain..
I don't understand why these transporters refused to bring down the Tfare, despite the reduction in fuel pump price.

It's well

The Nigerian State governments have to step in to ensure transportation costs are broug down due to those fuel pump price reductions.

Buying processed sachet tomatoes and packaged food defeats the essence of a village market where you’re supposed to patronize them for fresh natural food

Yea. That's because in most villages, food items move almost directly from the farm to the market. With minimal transportation, fewer middlemen, and very low overhead costs, prices remain relatively stable and affordable.

Unlike Cities which operate very differently. By the time food reaches urban markets, additional costs have already been layered in. Transportation, fuel, storage, handling, market levies, and other operating expenses. Each step in that chain pushes prices higher.
