You.

These are NATO armed Ukrainian soldiers, fully equipped with state of the art weapons. This is who Russia has been fighting with and still able to capture territories as large as the United Kingdom.

A proper European sophisticated army. The best armed in Europe. More than Germany and France combined.

Now show us the barefooted goat herders in Afghanistan that the U.S fought for 20 years and lost to.

If you are going to argue eotj me, wji h is wholly welcomed, please stick to the facts. My time is limited.

Germany for example continue to deny Ukraine the Taurus, a definite game changer that would've had the Kremlin sweating like sacrificial goat.

Same denial is true for most alliance partners. NATO policy has always been containment, whichso far is satisfactorily achieved with F16, Nlaw, Abrams, Leopards, patriots etc.

Should F22 and F53 enter Ukraine?. How about once or two US aircraft carriers stationed on the Mediterranean and ost seas?.

It is worthy to note that most of the alliance weapons in Ukraine are retired armaments which had to be restored and restocked for Ukraine. Much like our tokunbo.

In effect, Ukraine is defending herself against an aggressive and non restrained Russia with limited and out-mustered gear.

I sincerely hope you are aware that a good chunk of the people listed as missing in most African countries including Nigeria, are either fighting for Russia in Ukraine for $2000 payday, killed in Ukraine or in Ukrainian custody as POWs.

This Russia has been beaten blue and red by Germany alone, not once, and if history elects to repeat again, a re-armed Germany will prevail against Russia in a conventional war.

And what's the difference between German Taurus missile and French SCALP or British Storm Shadow missiles?

The best of the best US/NATO air defense systems (Patriot, THAAD, IRIS-T) have been sent to Ukraine.

Fighter jets, depleted uranium shells, chemical weapons, HIMARS, ATACMS, drones (both air and sea drones), tanks, IFVs and the entire US/NATO satellite surveillance systems have been handed to Ukraine.

The only thing left to send are nukes, nothing else.

Both Biden and Trump have confessed that the U.S weapons stock is nearly empty. Even EU leaders have said the same.

When are y'all gonna finally admit that Russia isn't your match. Just stick to what you do best, fighting goat herders and orphans in Gaza.

My friend, resorting to demonstrably false claims in an attempt to prevail in an argument only diminishes the quality of the discourse.

Much of your submission is factually unsound, and I do not have the time to address every misstatement individually. That said, a few core points must be made.

Russia. and Vladimir Putin personally, has suffered profound strategic and reputational damage in Ukraine. The invasion has failed to achieve its primary objectives, exposed deep structural weaknesses in Russia’s military, and permanently altered how the world perceives Russian power. Absent sustained Western hesitation and political division, most notably within the United States, Russia would likely be facing even more decisive setbacks today.

Ukraine’s resistance has earned widespread respect and admiration, while Russia’s image as a first-rate conventional military power has been severely downgraded. What remains of Russia’s deterrence credibility rests overwhelmingly on its nuclear arsenal, not on its conventional forces. That reality alone, as I have told you before, should be sobering.

Russia’s much-vaunted T-90 tanks and other legacy systems have underperformed in modern combined-arms warfare, particularly against precision weapons, drones, and networked intelligence. This is not a matter of opinion; it is borne out by battlefield evidence and independent assessments.

More broadly, Russia’s military technology lags behind that of its principal peers. While the Soviet Union once excelled at mass production of durable hardware, modern warfare is now driven by information dominance, precision, logistics, and interoperability, areas where Russia has struggled consistently.

The United States and NATO excel here, and even China, despite lacking combat experience, has surpassed Russia in several key technological domains.

War today is fundamentally technology-driven and systems-integrated. Russia’s failure to adapt to this reality is a central reason it has not achieved its stated objectives in Ukraine.

We can debate endlessly, but an unwillingness to reassess clearly untenable claims only prolongs the discussion without advancing it. Facts are stubborn, and the available evidence overwhelmingly contradicts the narrative you are advancing.

Vladimir Putin is an internationally indicted war criminal under ICC warrants and governs as an authoritarian ruler. His military record, Chechnya, Georgia, Syria, and now Ukraine, shows a pattern of brutality paired with limited strategic success and long-term instability rather than decisive victory. Russia also lost to the same Afghan goat herders you mentioned.

Economically, Russia remains heavily dependent on fossil fuel exports. Sanctions imposed by the United States and its allies have significantly constrained Russia’s economic flexibility, degraded its industrial base, and reduced long-term growth prospects. Continued reliance on discounted energy sales to China and India underscores weakness, not strength. Russia’s economy persists, but it does so under mounting structural strain.

Sanctions are a form of power projection, and in this domain Russia has little leverage. It lacks the economic centrality or indispensable exports required to impose comparable pressure on others.

The broader point is simple: war is multifaceted, military, economic, technological, and diplomatic. Across most of these dimensions, Russia is at a disadvantage relative to the United States and its allies.

Ultimately, time will determine how this conflict concludes. But the notion that Putin’s Russia represents a peer competitor to the United States in global power projection is simply not credible.

The evidence has already rendered its verdict.

How are you, my friend?. Did you catch this?. The U.S. waltzed into Venezuela, grabbed Maduro and his misses, and flew them out like excess baggage. End of story. That’s decisive power, something Putin never even came close to pulling off in Ukraine.

Everything you think the US has, Russia have it too.

I mean EVERYTHING!

Some even more than the US. Russia has a bigger Navy than the US.

Russia has a bigger space force than the US. The US space force is less than 5 years old.

Until Elon Musk came into the game, the US heavily relied on Russia to send Astronauts and spacecrafts to space.

Russia has Spetnatz. Go and read about them. They make all US special forces look like kindergarten children.

Russia is fighting the 2nd largest country and 2nd largest army in Europe. And have permanently captured lands as big as Belgium.

The US fought poor goat herders for 20 years. The US got military support of all NATO countries to fight a poor Afghanistan and still lost.
