What i learn from this year.
I think l learnt a lot this year but above all this was two crucial stuff i learnt this year,.
I got to understand how to exit the market, jt use to be a big challenge for me, i got to understand that exit strategy is as important as entry strategy and i started working on it, hopefully i get better and better and i found a way to improve the habit of trading and opening multiple positions tho i haven't conquered it completely but its something i worked on greatly this year and it helped me alot..
My knowledge on the market improved greatly, how i analyse the market, i discovered off things i usually ignored in the past and i think I'm a better trader now compared to the start of this year..


AREAS THAT STILL NEEDS IMPROVEMENT.

I still need to work on my decision making and patience, i tend to have fomo when i miss out on my setup, so i desperately need to improve that aspect also i still need to improve on my exit strategy, adjusting sl and trading without sl have cost me and i need to work on it...
Next year I wont enter a trade without sl.
I tend to lose my psychology when in losing streak, i always have this overconfidence that all my trades need to end in profits and when jt doesn't i tend to revenge trade, this is something i need to work next year...
I lost my ability to be patience and i need to bring back my own self....


ADVICE FOR NEWBIES.

Patience, your ability to manage your risk will determine how far you will go, opening a trade is not difficult but managing the trade when i. Loss and in profit is a big challenge. Sl should be a must,

Close all the trades and accept your mistake.. Open a demo and relax tradong it till your psyche is balanced.. If you continue trading this account, trust me u will lose it.. That account is in a serious draw down and experienced traders know it will take u long time to get to break even, even 3 months bit several more cos you will need to make 200% to be back at BE..
Right now your brain is in serious overdrive and it's that overdrive that will blow the account..if I'm in your shoe and I know what I know now, I will withdraw my money and focus solely on demo or withdraw and leave like 20$ converted to cent account.. Forex no dey go anywhere so there is no rush.. I wish I internalize this knowledge several years ago..

If you are still struggling, challenge yourself to take time off of pushing buttons and just looking at the charts daily! Don’t even think about demo trading.

The charts will teach you! It will open your eyes to things that have always been there. Then and only then can you demo trade.


Also, i recommend demo trading to backtesting.

This is solid advice. But I'd recommend forward testing to demo trading. Find a $5k account with a prop firm. A lot of promos going on now. Trade and feel the live emotions that come with this game.

Just an opinion.
