The Grassroots Mobilizers (GM) National Working Committee (NWC) has taken note of a misleading public statement credited to a former public office holder, alleging that His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, GSSRS, Governor of Rivers State, lacks a political structure and that his recent political realignment came too late to be effective.

We categorically refute this claim in its entirety and describe it as false, self-serving, and disconnected from the political realities on ground in Rivers State.

Governor Fubara’s Structure Is Real, Deep, and Formidable

Contrary to the misleading narrative, Governor Siminalayi Fubara has, over time, built and consolidated one of the most organic, people-driven, and formidable political structures in Rivers State. His structure is not artificial or dependent on coercion; it is rooted in governance performance, humility, accessibility, and genuine grassroots engagement.

From the wards to the local governments and across the senatorial districts, Governor Fubara enjoys the support of civil servants, youths, women groups, traditional institutions, professionals, faith-based organizations, and grassroots mobilizers who believe in his leadership style and developmental vision.

Governance, Not Noise, Defines Political Strength

Political strength in Rivers State today is no longer measured by noise, intimidation, or imposed loyalty, but by credibility, performance, and the trust of the people. Governor Fubara’s administration has demonstrated uncommon commitment to:
