Tinubu was not foolish to wait for PMB to finish his tenure before stepping up. Even if ATIKU steps down, OBI will not win as the SW and North will prefer Tinubu finishes his tenure than vote another southerner for an 8year tenure.

This is one of the reasons I'm advocating Jonathan/Kwankwaso ticket.

Jonathan doing a single term is not negotiable so north will support him massively also, he's not politically strong to alter their politicking, he will only mind his administration unlike Tinubu that will want to plant his stooge.
South south and southeast will be on the lockdown for him while southwest will be divided.
If that ticket comes up under any party, I give it 60% success.

Now Tinubu want to bring RMK into APC to make him not available.
As a liberal but concerned Nigerian, we are watching

Sentiments aside. Atiku is a fool, his best chance to step down for Obi was the last election.

You can say it again. He doesn't even have to be president for him to get whatever he wants. But as you know, he's no longer looking for money but power. He should rest. Obi will lead Nigeria to prosperity cos even in the north, they know he'll protect their interest but due to sentiments, they've always been looking the other way. Now they're wiser. Obi/Elrufai will seal the deal. God bless Nigeria.

If Atiku refuses to step down for Obi and support him, I'll vote tinubu instead, the devil we know because it will be unfair for the south not to be allowed to do 8 years, since that's the country's political makeup for now.

Don't say that, Obi with the backing of northern support will defeat Tinubu. Not with the way APC is ruling the nation. Tinubu implementing this tax law just 1 year to election is a very wrong move. He should have waited till 2027 after the elections. When the effect of the tax start affecting Nigerians which will be very close to election, they will express their pain through voting.

Peter should contest but I am sure he knows he can't win.

Northerners will not want to play a dangerous game of bringing another southerner who may want to use 8 years... They expect power in 2031. politicians don't even trust themselves.

If they vote Atiku In, they have nothing to loose, if Tinubu win ,it's good for them.

That's what I told some people. The OBIFOOLS are still riding on the wave of 2023, not knowing that time has passed, and people has seen the reality. E go shock them. The northern Christians that voted for him last time , has almost 70% percent of them behind Tinubu now, and with the recent solidarity with them via the fight against bandits and terrorists, Tinubu already won their heart. Northern Muslim vote will be split, and the reason is because of Atiku.
