Fast forward few weeks later, attackers are still scoring their normal 1 or 2 goals per match BUT cleansheet gone. Where are we in the table today? 5th (if Sunderland win, 6th)

We have dropped 13 points from winning position..... Emphasis on winning position. Which means we are ahead in the game, attack have scored. But because of woeful defence that can never protect a lead, we drop points. Imagine where we would have been today if the defence did their job and this 13 points is counted for us. We are on 30 points today. League leader is on 45 points.... Remember, this are points we dropped from winning position not total points we have dropped.

But but attack is the problem. Maybe if the attack scored more and more, we wouldn't have dropped those points from winning position

Defence is not our problem. Fix the attack. Period.

This Attack and defence discussion i still dont get ..
A team must balance simple..
Everyone should focus more on their Basic duties.
Attackers should Score and create goals..
Midfielders are keys to both Defence and Attack.
Defenders should do their their main duty , defend .
In our case now .
Our Defenders give cheap goals away, when the Team is trying to create goals.
Our Attackers must create 5 chances before we can even score 1.
Thats the difference between a small Team and a Big Team .

I went in to state that I would rather anyone else did it as long as they are not Arsenal, Liverpool, or United. It's football rivalry, nothing else

You and I stand gidigba on midfield issues, picking out midfield control as a major vulnerability in offensive and defensive phases of our games.

I also stand with the defence crew, highlighting their position every game that you just can't keep conceding goals from winning positions.

I never tipped us at any time to win the league, or compete. I have always felt we are not ripe.

The one year period in which Madueke has gone without a goal involvement (goal or assist) in the league also includes his time at Chelsea were he was starting matches.. The signs were always there, he was on a run of 11 straight league matches without a goal or assist at Chelsea before he left for Assnal

I already told u Madueke won't amount to anything more than a Saka back up so it's no surprise he's riding the bench for Bukayo
