Are the legislators civil servants and the question remains; are state governor supposed to have a cash security vote that they can spend as they like or not at all in a country like Nigeria where state police is so hard to setup?

Fubara can't successfully be Wike's enemy in that state. So I choose to believe they've settled.

The problem in Rivers state now as at today btw Fubara and Wike is bigger than what happened b4 the state of emergency, there's no peace in Rivers state, politically.

The write up says the monies were paid to their personal accounts not salary account. It was not referred to as a bribe either. Fubara is inexperienced but courageous as one of my brothers stated.

Fubara is inexperienced yes, but he is playing ball now, dont get it twisted at all. His move to APC insulates him from a lot of trouble that could arise

I have said it earlier, sim is a slow poisonous snake. He is an ungrateful personality. Wike too has his excess problems, but fubara is not a saint .

Your moniker says hope4nigeria, but u want state governor to dole out 100k dollars to lawmakers for Xmas bonus?? How much was given to civil servants in the state?? Na so them dey share $100k for foreign countries? The problem of this country is not just the leaders, but more of the people. There is something fundamentally wrong with us as a people, we so much encourage wasteful spendings & wonder why our leaders can't work. There is actually no hope for this country.
