Absolutely not Worth it and we will all find out , it will trigger another round of inflation, weaken the naira further and not really increase govt revenue as being perceived...It's will put pressure on Nigerian banks as people will try to keep as much cash out of the system as possible...the greatest winner in all this will be crypto exchanges as a lot of large transactions will move there and the govt will not be able to keep up with it ...

Bottom line I see it it slowing economic recovery even further

They’re testing the limits of Nigerians and not done yet, like I said earlier this year when I posted about electricity tariffs

Me thinking, they would tax more after this one has settled down. Shebi Na so them do for the ₦50 deduction for any deposit from 10k above and now this? More will follow.

Pls, someone should tell me. Is it 500k withdrawal on the go or weekly accumulated withdrawal of 500k? If my answer is the latter, the thin no gel atall. This might trigger inflation and by default, na all of us go dey pay more. And, POS charges no go be here oo.

It will never stop, because the money hunger of this thieving government is insatiable. If we allow it now, we will have no choice but to continue it till something drastic happens. We are in for a very long haul.
