Good day Nairalanders,

To eat Chicken 🐔 is now permanently for the rich and those who are earning well..

The chickens looks big physically before they are slaughtered, but after they always look small..

During Christmas I had to buy goat 🐐 from people who are rearing them for N35,000, just to change taste and, at the end it couldn't really certiisfy my 4 families, me, my wife and my 2 young kids, it got finished before 28th of December 2025..

Honestly, after working hard and legitimately throughout the year, this is what alot of money could get you

Chief, even if you say you spend 200k in 2 weeks I believe uou, things are really expensive man...

I didn't even talk about the amount of fuel I burn from morning till night from 25th -27th to entertain some few family friends who just came for just few hours and left...

They have spoilt Nigeria for poor people 😆 🤣

I am now thinking how tinubu effect is making me to wonder if the house project i undertaking is above my capacity.

The inflation is too much , from experience as you have started you will surely complete , starting is the hardest part ..May God see your project through

That's why you lift the chicken upside down when buying to know which is heavier. Though sometimes that fails as well. But the best time to buy is when the seller receive new stock

Chicken dey like say eh dey pay tax

Even the chicken could not believe he was purchased at that price. See how it is looking in disbelief.

I didn't cook on Christmas but went to crunches(the fast food) got rice and chicken.
But today I got a kilo of chicken 6k after all I live alone not expecting anybody.

No wonder the goat is really tiny. I for say goat 35k How The one I bought for Christmas was 140k from those northerners in aduwawa market in Benin. My popsy Northern gateman say dem run me street as him for get am for 100k for me but it was big though. New year na chicken win am.
